The most ive paid is 25.00 for the nintendo power set...actually got the top loader with two 2600s intellivision 2 ,nintendo nes and about 40, 2600 games for forty dollars.the 2600 games one lot I paid 40.00 dollars for a box of about 150 games..I think theres about 500+ games in the picture most all commons...I find a lot by asking at yard sales if they have in old video games they would want to sell.I have passed on a lot of 2600 stuff .I dont mind paying a good price if theres rare games but some insist pac man sells on ebay for mega dollars so i pass. The best place I find stuff at are the yard sales that you have to drive 5 to 15 miles up old roads to get to the ones most pass on.Except for the boxed stuff everything is up for trade...

Was a good deal...I love collecting as much as anyone else but I only spend a few minutes a week on Ebay looking ...Atari is fun but me personaly I cant see wasting my life on the computer watching for a good deal.. plus once I get one of something I dont bid on that item again.

What would be a fair price for one of the store displays where you get the monitor stand super nintendo. The kind they had in stores for demonstrations.

Are gas prices causing you to spend less on eBay?
wrldstrman replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
I quit buying on ebay because it seems every auction I am interested in doesnt have shipping costs Iam sick of paying 5.00 bucks shipping and getting my game in a 80 cent bubble envlope.Plus I won one of the atari 8cart book style holders a while back for about 6.00 dollars and the seller wanted like 14 dollars to ship.I asked if they could compromise on shipping. So They did come down to around 8 dollars but I got the holder in a envelope crushed to pieces with a 2.00 shipping charge on the envelope. -
lol looks like fake beagle bros carts are going cheap

I thought begal brothers went out of business guess not maybe menavision will start putting out more air raids -
I think I should let the guy in the local comic store know about this one seeing how he told me a mint in the box colecovision was worth 2 grand.
-
The common thing I run into on ebay is a 3.75...4.00 shipping charge that ends up coming in a 80cent bubble mailer..I actually like the bubble envelopes the games seem to get to me faster and so far no damage.but It would be nice to only pay the 80 cents shipping tho.

Man was today a bummer the flea market opened.Had great weather and about 300 people selling.I checked out every seller and the only game stuff throuh out the entire flea market was one sega for 20 dollars and a nintendo 64 with 5 games for fifty dollars.Sure hope it isnt going dry around here to.

I say do what is affordable for you.If you have the money to buy complete games I would buy complete games.also got to take how much space you have into account.Having the instructions is always helpful and the boxed game look nice displayed. If you are on a limited budget loose games are fine and take up less space.I would say just dont go in over your head trying to build a collection in a matter of months. It may take years and years to build up a nice collection. So I say do what you can afford.
