That would be up to you I personally would offer ten at the most but thats me Luckily around here we have a store that still sells 2600 games for 50 cents a piece.Granted its always usally common games but you can find 4 and 5 rarity games sometimes.
-
How much were they I need a backgammon and arcade golf. thanks Doug
-
Yep Christmas is about the only time people seem to shell out the bucks for systems with common games.I think what gives a lot of sellers the wrong idea is when they see a 2600 with a lot of a few games go for 100.00 to 5oo.oo dollars they do not realizing that those kinds of lots have a lochjaw or video life etc hidden in the lot thus rasing the price.Guess you could put up a system with 50 combats and one air raid an it would go for big bucks just because or air raid.

With winter and no yard sales or flea markets I decided to hang up some adds in the local super markets.I had about 20 calls 6 said they had an atari and games and said they would get back with me.(never heard from them again).Went to look at 4 or 5 of the people that called stuff but they wanted way to much for very common games...2 called and said they had an atari and some games but didnt know where and finally about 8 people who called I went and looked at what they had and ended up with 8 woodgrain systems.about a dozen power supplies and paddles 2 dozen joysticks.a boxed 5200 with 5 games..2 7800 systems 2 2600 jrs one intellivision with 20 games 1intellivision 2 and around 400, 2600 games piece o cake being the rarest game. Most of the stuff was covered in dirt and dust from being in attics and basements but only about a dozen carts didnt work but only 4 of the 2600 consoles worked.Still holding out for a forgotton copy of air raid...Other then one guy who insisted pac man was worth its weight in gold most were glad to see there oldstuff go to someone who still enjoyed it. One guy I actually invited over to see my collection. So the stuff is out there just got to find ways of locating it. Our local garbage man still finds the old systems thrown in the trash.Anyway happy hunting

I hung up adds at several stores in my area had about 20 calls went to look at about a dozen peoples stuff. Most had between 20 and 30 common games and wanted antique roadshow prices so only about 6 panned out picked up 8 woodgrain systems 2 jrs1 intellivision 1intellivision2 2 7800s 1 5200 dozen power supplys dozen paddles two dozen joysticks and about 400 games nothing rare.
-
my auctions never do that well

-
Ihave scuba diver from zellers its not on the list. Was it just overlooked or is it a pirate cart.
-
First let me say I am not knocking pal games,if I lived in pal country I would be snatching up a lot of games. My vent is why do people keep insisting on using the ntsc rarity guide for pal games and worse they will list a rare game using the ntsc rarity rating and not check that they are pal games .I think this is very misleading. There is a place on ebay to put weather the games are pal or ntsc.Pay no attention to me just had to get that off my chest. Secondly if you bought a game such as bmxairmaster and the auction stated it was the rarity 9/10 game and when you got it found out it was pal and pal was not stated in the auction should the seller refund the money.

I think you will find more games and stuff out in the country.Seriously people who live in the country usally have big attics, basements, sheds, barns or places they have stored things and dont have to worry about space.Im sure people who live in cities ,apartments and so on dont have the space to hang on to things.Just this week I have acquired 5 atari 2600s 1 7800 1 5200 1 intellivision 40 intellivision games most boxed and over 250 2600 carts.I have also talked to many people who said oh I have an atari and a whole box of games somewhere.Sometimes you can pick up stuff at a reasonable price sometimes people think their old atari and common games are worth the price of a new car.Rarest stuff Ive ever run across is rubics cube and crazy climber but I continue to look Im sure somewhere theres a boxed air raid sitting collecting dust in an attic. My wife thinks Im a nut but when Im standing in line somewhere or out around people making small talk I mention the fact I collect old videogames you would be susprised how people will say I have an old atari ,people actually still play them.I just ask if they would want to sell it exchange numbers, sometimes it pans out sometimes it doesnt.Neverhurts to ask.

you looking for anything that we could trade or how much you asking.Doug

Cool thanks

Is 72 the total amount of games made for the 5200 thats not including protos or home brew.
-
Iagree obliex is a 7 0r 8 tops can find that one on ebay pretty much all the time. The game I had the hardest time finding was flag capture picture label .hope to be receiving it soon.
-
It is anice collection of stuff but most new buyers want a complete set up.I may be wrong but the complete systems with 20 or more games seem to be bringing the best prices. If it doesnt sell I would try to sell a complete system with the games and sell the consoles seperate or wait and try to acquire the wires.then sell just one opinion
-
Wonder if thats the same one that was on goodwill a couple weeks ago.
-
