If your new to collecting games I am not sure if your aware the diffrence between the games.Pal games were made for use mainly for Europe and will usally not play on systems in the US.Plus some of the rare games for the 2600 hundred were more avalible in Europe than the US so their not as rare in the pal format.And visa versa.

I probally shouldnt but I just had to put in my 2 cents.I have a couple thoughts on the matter.First if you can afford to buy the rare games I say I think its great I know a lot of people who will stick hundreds of dollars a weekend sticking money in strippers g strings.Or some will spend hundreds going out to eat.So if you can afford it I dont see anything wrong with paying what you can afford for rare games.I dont have the room and have other hobbies I would rather spend a thousand dollars on.for goodness sakes Ive got close to 2500.00 in deer mounts.The only thing I dont care for and its my opinion Is when I get a rare game like crazy climber I dont and will not bid on another.I see it as I was lucky enough to get one so let someone else have the next one even it is going for twenty dollars.But thats me I guess I dont live in the real world.Any way I just hate to see this hobby turned into another one for only the rich or in debt over their head.Only game I would even condsider paying over 1000.00 for would be air raid as of I can only remember hearing as one confirmed to exist.plus it looks really cool.

Been way to many on lately supply and demand just like tcsm and halloween have been dropping in price seems like any time you log on ebay you can find these for sale ctcw to.A good example I had a set of smash up derby cars on ebay a while back mine and another were the only set on ,as soon as some sellers saw the bid on the sets were close to 100.00 dollars they listed theirs.Ended up being more than a dozen sets listed....End result the bid on my auction didnt increase anymore and theirs didnt break 30.00 dollars. If I am not mistaken I think there are 4 waterworlds on ebay right now and several tcsm ers.

Well the main problem is that ebay really has no major competetion.Until someone gets another big online auction up and running they can increase their prices all they want.Kind of like wal mart once target and k mart go under we will be paying 25 dollars for a roll of toliet paper.

I just won superkicks ,Artillery duel and ghost manor from them for 40.00 dollars. First single ender xonox carts I ve bought. Think I got a good deal or did I pay to much.Carts looked in mint shape.

I pick up quadrun two weeks ago and paid 344.00 dollars less than the last one sold on ebay.

I know this has probally been discussed before but if it was I missed it. What do you think the value of a complete atari collection would be. meaning games released in the US. Boxed I guess 40 thousand, loose maybe 15 thousand.I am just talking games not systems controllers or protos ,xante, I think a boxed air raid would bring close to 5.000.00 plus by itself.

I agree with waiting til the last five minutes of the 90 day peorid.Until Ebay starts to even care about running their business the right way if you dont want a negitive back that is the only way you can do it. Personally I think its nothing more than exhtortion that you have to pay ebay for looking into removing a negitive feedback. On the other hand people must be smart using Ebay no deals to great if the seller doesnt list shipping or quotes you a shipping total .You could win what you think is a great deal then end up getting charged 4 times the price of the item in shipping.I got burnt once on shipping and I being the smart fellow will not bid no matter how bad I want something on a auction as to where I cant get a shipping total.If you bid without knowing shipping guess you just got to take your lumps. It is sad that people try to rip you off but we got to be smart. The best example of what has been discussed before about people trying to rip Ebay off is. I saw I think it was room of doom or a cart close to it.The starting price was 99 cents with shipping of thirty dollars.I emailed the seller asking about the shipping .They responded saying that was the price they wanted for the game. They were more or less getting around paying the reserve fee ,listing fee (as in its only 30 cents if the starting price is under 9.99 ) and final value fee and if paying by money order pay pal fee so they were saving several dollars.I know I am probally just a nut but just be careful dont let the bad guys win.

well I can say Ive been very lucky with the silver label games I have gotton silver gravitar, crazy climber ,swordquest water world, rubic cube,video cube and quadrun and have spent just a hair over one hundred dollars for all of them.guess I have been lucky.but I did pass up a atari BMX airmaster before I knew it was a keeper.

Thanks to a local video game store I now am a proud owner of QUADRUN. So christmas came early for me. Cant wait to play it.

Wonder if it has an end label

I would be careful I had someone that wanted 17.00 dollars to ship a atari book type holder .I asked if that was the best they could do. they said they would take it to the post office and see.They got back with me and the shipping was found to be only 6.00 dollars.I paid the six dollars and ended up getting the holder smashed to pieces in a plain envolope.This was done on purpose no doubt .So I always look at shipping charges first.

Anyone got a extra copy of earth dies screaming they want to sell or trade. This is the last fox game I need to complete my fox collection.

I vote colecovision I have andstill find hundreds ofatari games nintendo sega and even intellivision but Ihave onlyfound colecovision games once.

Wonder what would happen if AA and DP took the rarity ratings off the sites for a while.Most all members already know what games they want to collect.I may be totaly wrong but I think the guys here at atari age started this site because they enjoy collecting and want to share things with fellow collectors.I dont think they intended to make a way for people whos sole reason for grabbing up every atari game the can find is to sell for big profits by using AA rarity guide to drive up prices. Obleix is a good example I think if it wasnt rated a ten it would sell for about the same as polaris or subterranea. I would just like to see the serious atari fans be able to build up their collections without having to go broke doing so making someone else rich..

Actually I think ebay has gotton to big that they cant handel it anymore.Its almost impossible to directly email someone there that you dont get back a premade response.With the high prices people will pay for items its just to easy for scam artists to take advantage of people.What ebay needs is someother competition to make them put more effort into taking care of their customers.Right now their really the only game in town so they could care less if anyone gets ripped off. just my opinion.

Ebay is a funny place guess if you get a couple of people that want a atari and right now the bids do get high. Wether the winning bidder pays is another story.
