I got a pal asteroids+combat bundle, both were picture labeled. Near sure my box showed a light sixer, so there is at least one more pack variation than shown through your link : )

Yes. You'll need a 60hz compatible tv, and the colors will be scrambled. Not a big deal for some games, more psychedelic with some others...

Can't tell as I'm not aware of US prices, but this is a sears heavy sixer with box and some nice cartridges. Which is worth more than a random 2600 But before selling, you should really try to fire it up to be sure it works.

Well maybe you're right and there was no france based distributor. Later releases in belgium (red boxes for example) had the english notice and 2 ugly ones on white paper, in french and in dutch. Could be the same distributor.

Would be rather difficult for these ones, as they all use some vertical stick movements I'm not convinced by this sort of hack... with a paddle you expect your avatar to go instantaneously at the chosen place, but the time needed to go there with these shmups is part of the difficulty.

Yes you probably changed game variation. On game 3, there is no more set pattern appearance. I don't have any flashback portable, but I'd be surprised if there wasn't a way to choose a game variation !

Did you put a cart into it while running your tests ? You don't get any welcome screen when you turn it on without a game

Your ntsc console outputs a ntsc signal so I'm afraid it won't help. The only difference with a pal cart is that the game will output 50fps instead of 60, and colors will look wrong.

You can play us games on a pal console. You'll just need a 60hz compatible tv, but most colors will be wrong. A us console will need a ntsc compatible tv. us games will work 100%, pal games will have wrong colors.
