  1. I think two flight sticks with succion pads (quickshot for example) would be the most convenient. Not to play on your lap though ! Don't forget the fire button, it should be on the stick.
  2. When is Labor Day ? (Here, it's May 1st )
  3. Hmmm.. do you say nato or n.a.t.o ? Nasa or n.a.s.a ? We usually say "ness" in french, although we DO know they are initials. Or, well, I don't really say nes, because I never cared about that toy
  4. Back in time I used to call it "atari", vcs optional. Today, I use 2600, as vcs is less known by non specialists. Could be confused with the new "ataribox" too. But I still use vcs when talking with old farts like me
  5. That's correct, they had a deal with First star for 250 cartridges only.
  6. G-type got it too for the Activision Summer Patch contest 2017 http://atariage.com/forums/topic/266921-2017-activision-summer-patch-quest/?do=findComment&comment=3790799 I personally never bothered to get it, I was happy enough to earn the 100 000 one !
  7. Vcs games were meant to be played with a stick, not a pad ! Pads are bad !
  8. I guess you'd need something like this : ) http://atariage.com/forums/topic/277159-modified-cart-with-chip-socket-and-flip-switch/
  9. Ordered 2 times at Best, had only mail communication, but he was very kind and helpful, trying to find the best solution for cheaper overseas shipping and customs. The cx40 gold kits are wonderful, somewhere between the originals cx40 and some microswitch stick, but without that horribly annoying kliketisound
  10. They probably had first to copy the rom, then the label, they should have done it the other way
  11. I did not even know that pal heavies existed
  12. At first, french tv were secam only. I guess there was some law too, that a device officially sold had to output secam. That's the reason why later junior had a peritel (scart) connector.
  13. Yes you're right, Belgium and most of western europe (except France) was pal. You're from Belgium x=usr ?
  14. Yes they have the same coax connector, "la prise antenne".
  15. Afaik, there was only secam version when the 2600 was *officially* sold in france. When french tv became multistandard pal/secam, for obvious reasons they favored pal 2600. As stated by x=usr... both pal and secam have the same coax connector. Afaik, only some 2600 junior were equipped with a scart connector, which was a french exception. Si on n'a pas bien compris ta question, tu peux me la poser en français
  16. I bought for christmas Draconian, Star Castle and Super cobra arcade, 3 incredible games !
  17. A bit late for christmas, but they finally arrived (quite a big travel) !
  18. From the album: Misc

  19. As a Belgian resident, I never tried to get these patches (aside, I only got Pitfall from activision ). In summer 2017 and 2016 there was a "contest" where the goal was to achieve as much patches as you can. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/266921-2017-activision-summer-patch-quest/ I once thought as you did, buy the patches I "earned". But seeing thoses prices made me change my mind ! My very personal patch palmares : See you this summer ?
  20. Was happy to grab 3 of them recently, box and booklets included, at a decent price (25 euros ?) on ebay ^^
  21. Hello ! My light sixer does lose its colors. It's that one : Connected to the crt through antenna (an old Philips that only have coax input) Some details about its behaviour : - each odd scanline count is grayscale - the display gets more fullscreen at 287 (60hz detection ?) - it starts to roll at 243 Don't you think the main difference is your composite connection ? Isn't the color coded another way than through antenna ? Hope this helps
