  1. Here's the video I stole the reverse polarity protection from.
  2. I haven't finished a release product yet, so it's not up there yet, I was making sure I didn't blow anything up first. I'll try to set up the repro in the next day or two.
  3. Here's mine.. Takes a 12v adapter, and has a +5v 4amp buck converter, and a 1amp -5v converter. I added a mosfet for reverse voltage protection. I was asking to be sure I had more than enough on the -5v. It takes away the coffee warmer from the front of the ti..
  4. Does anyone know how many watts or amps are pulled on the internal supply for each rail? And is there a modern replacement for the actual switch? Thanks.
  5. Shipping is decently quick to USA, and I've got his adapter, and a couple of analog boards.
  6. Yep, that's the one. He sells it on tindie. It needs a external RGBtoHDMI adapter, using either his lumacode only board, or a analog board. I've got a c128, Atari 800xl, and now the TI with lumacode adapters. So I just use one external box for all of them (It also works on the composite out of the ZX81 (Timex TS1000 in the USA)) I've been going a bit overboard with converting to digital out in the last year. C64 - HDMI - Vic II Kawari Large - Case mod for rgb and HDMI out C128 - Lumacode - Uses RF output connector C128 RGB - RGB2HDMI - TTL Buffer Board - DB9 on rear of computer. TS1000 (ZX81) - RGB2HDMI - Analog Board, Straight from composite mod. ATARI 800xl - Lumacode - Uses RF output connector TI99/4a - Lumacode - Uses Din Connector, Needs pigtail Apple IIe - RGB2HDMI - Internal Wiring to Motherboard, DB25 connector on rear, 12bit TTL Board Apple IIGS - RGB2HDMI - Internal Wiring to Motherboard, DB25 connector on rear, 12bit TTL Board Amiga 500 - RGB2HDMI - Internal RGB2HDMI board, with HDMI Full size breakout on case bracket Amiga 2000 - RGB2HDMI - Internal RGB2HDMI board, with HDMI Full size breakout on case bracket Coco 3 - RGB2HDMI - External Connector to Analog Board Coco 2 - RGB2HDMI - Internal Connector to Analog Board (Wires hanging out the back) Atari 520STFM - RGB2HDMI - Internal Wiring to Motherboard or interposer board, still haven't figured out getting out of the case, 12bit TTL Board IBM 5150/5160/5162 - RGB2HDMI - DB9 to TTL buffer Board.
  7. After a failed attempt to get HDMI from my 99/4a using a rgb adapter with a RGBtoHDMI, I grabbed one of the brand new TMSdigitizer from C0pperdragon. It looks great, (I had scanlines turned on in the picture.) I've now got digital out for most of my vintage collection now. The TI was the last of the major brand machines I have that I didn't have a adapter for.
  8. I've made another batch of these for sale. https://forums.atariage.com/topic/359864-a8picocart-with-enigbeveled-edge-and-case-45-shipped-usa/ $10 of the sale goes to the creator.
  9. I've got 10 A8Picocarts for sale $45.00 each, Shipping included in the USA. $10 of this goes to the creator of the A8Picocart, electrotrains. The A8Picocart is a RP2040 based Multicart for the Atari 8 bit computers by electrotrains. See the thread here. https://forums.atariage.com/topic/351546-a8picocart-unocart-on-a-raspberry-pi-pico/ And the Github page here. https://github.com/robinhedwards/A8PicoCart These have a ENIG gold finish, with a bevel cut on the pcb for easy insertion. I've also added a small button on the back to make firmware updates easy, since you don't need to open the case. (The PCB pic is reused from my last batch, I forgot to take a picture of these, but they are the same) Located in Chattanooga, TN, USA
  10. I converted my NTSC 800XL to PAL by swapping the ANTIC/GTIA/and main crystal, Color works using the GTIADigitizer with only those components swapped.
  11. I have trouble with my TL866 programmer if the USB cable is too long, and it seems to run better on a USB 2 controller instead of a USB 3. My GQ-4X works on 20' usb cables, it just doesn't seem to care.
  12. Just run a jumper to the next place it needs to go. And check every chip you have socketed / replaced
  13. Grab the schematics for the 130xe. Check every leg of the gtia on BOTH sides. i.e. where it comes from and goes to. I had a similar issue where I thought every thing was fine, and it was, from one side of the chip.
  14. You need to add some 560ohm resistors, and lift some components, and of course you have to run a cable out.
  15. I'm trying the get a good profile for my rgb2hdmi, and I'm looking for a program that can give me color bars of all the colors on screen at once. Preferably with color labels. Any example programs out there? Cart based diags? Thanks.
  16. Has anyone used the TMS-RGB with a rgb2hdmi? I'm trying to get it running from my TI99/4a. I installed a TMS9928 and the 560ohm resistors, and now tt looks great on a sony pvm. But I'm trying to add it to my RGBtoHDMI, using the analog board. So, the RGB output of the TMS-RGB is .7vpp? and what about the sync?
  17. Modifying the Camputers Lynx profile, I'm close, but the palette is off to me.
  18. I've got a NTSC TI99/4a and I purchased the TMSRGB mod and a TMS9928AN and I'm trying to get output using the RGB2HDMI with the analog board. Has anyone else done this? I'm getting RGB out, but struggling on the RGB2HDMI portion.
  19. I've got 6 A8Picocarts for sale $25.00 each plus shipping. $10 of this goes to the creator of the A8Picocart, electrotrains. I usually ship USPS small flat rate box, which works out to around $10.00 Located in Chattanooga, TN, USA
  20. I grabbed a AVG cart with the cables for the PBI and sio, and it does Ram upgrades and Disk emulation.
  21. Ok, to convert a NTSC 800xl to Pal with full color hdmi out you need the following. These are from Best, using their pricing. CO21698 (PAL XL / XE ANTIC) $24.95 CO14889-01 (PAL GTIA) $20.00 CO16112 (3.546894 MHz XTAL) $2.50 Then you need a Raspberry Pi Zero with headers. ($16.00 from adafruit.) Then from Copperdragons Tindie store. GTIAdigitizer $39.00 RGBtoHDMI Mono & LumaCode $40.00 So, not the cheapest project, but it does look nice. I'm around $160 to $170 after shipping, plus the actual 800XL. If you use the lumacode for other units like I do, then the $56 for rgb2hdmi and pi get split on other machines also. (I'm using it with my C128, ZX81, c64)
