Well, my TI arrived today, and looks great. I'll try hooking it up and looking at basic only until next week sometime. I got the static ram, but the 74ls21 won't arrive until friday or saturday. Later, dabone

I already ordered one, but you show out of stock on it anyway. On a side note, can any of the emulators run the multirom images? I was going to play around while I wait for the computer, ram upgrade, and cart.

I never had a 99/4a growing up, but I'm thinking about adding one currently. My collection currently has Commodores, Apples, Atari, TRS-80's, Coco's, and early PC's. My goal with the 99 is having a standard unit and a multicart to play with it occasionally. What cart is available for purchase just to show off the old system? (I'm looking for a Ti equivalent of the megarom cart for the Vic-20, just plug in and enjoy alot of games..) Thanks, Later, dabone

I just got my first atari 8 bit this year and it's a unmodded 130xe, I see some games and alot of demos need more ram, and I'm a bit confused about the standards for memory upgrades. I found this upgrade online. http://atari.a8maest...ball/ballhc.htm I'm very experienced with soldering and I already have all the parts, is this a good upgrade to perform? I just bought my first atari 8 bit. I was a Commodore owner back in the day and never had or played a 8bit atari computer, and I found a 130xe at a great price over on the Vintage Computer Forum. 130xe with sio2sd, power supply and joystick. $65 after shipping All I can say is the speed differences between the commodore games and the atari games are huge! (Trying to play Donkey kong shows how bad I am at faster versions.) I'll play for this a bit before putting it away.
