I hadn't had a dog in 25+ years. Got one for the family this year. I had NO idea GRAPES were poison for some dogs. WOW. Close one and a big vet bill.

  Good rule of thumb for many reasons (some not so obvious) is never feed them "human" food. Stick with that golden rule and they won't annoy and beg at dinner time too.

  We've been good about no (or very little)people food, OTOH in the future I might have fed her grapes out of ignorance, so still good I found out. But this case was freakin' WILD grapes dropping into her enclosure. I didn't even know I had wild grapes!!!
