  1. Very nice collection. Thanks for the work. The long names are great!
  2. Nice haul. You won't regret it.
  3. Heheh. You guys are nutty. "Missing original cartridge image!" on atarimania indicates that there is no ROM available (there).
  4. So why are we not playing Brundles in the HSC? I'll check out the Logic3 mouse. Sounds interesting. If I remember correctly, Brundles supports the Amiga mouse, but I could be wrong, as I play it with a STM1.
  5. Enjoyed the video. I didn't agree with everything, but I'd love to see more.
  6. Yeah, i'd pay to have this one on NTSC.
  7. No PM, but check out Star Raiders, if you can find it.
  8. I hope to join in this weekend. Got really busy for the last three weeks with family and work. My wife had a baby, quite earlier than expected, and then we had a lot of family visitors, and I had a lot of work as well. Been a great time, but no time for Atari playing. So I hope to add to the list this weekend if I can get a little time on the 800. Congrats Jack. hope all is well with the newborn and mom.
  9. Fair enough. A pic of the title screen would be outstanding.
  10. Heh, well YEAH, but the dump is missing. A photo of the diskette is not exactly what I'm looking for.
  11. Cool, thanks for the info. I thought I had a near perfect Synapse collection (with all the XL/XE patches, etc.). Guess I need to check on this one. While we're at it, there are two versions of Quasimodo from Synapse (1983 and 84 -- also a good game, and not to mention the 3rd version from Synsoft with a 1985). Anyone know the state of affairs there? It seems Synsoft might have done some UK re-releases of USA Synapse titles, but I'm not sure. The ONLY version of Drelbs I could find was from Synsoft ... would love to see what the true Synapse release looked like. I like how the HSC helps us research some of this stuff in an enjoyable way (don't mistake my dull expression for a lack of enthusiasm).
  12. What a bizarre game. No wonder Orpheus likes it so much.
  13. Yeah, Electrician is good (Synapse, need I say more?) Anyone know what was "fixed in Electrician?
  14. atarionline.pl have 4 versions maybe one of them will work Trooper 5,143 To keep things interesting the Table will be by rank then score folks (see 1st post) I yanked a copy from the homesoft archives. Seems to work fine, but has one of those obnoxious loading screens. The xex (v1) atari atarionline.pl works ok (homesoft version) and the atr (v2) file seems ok.
  15. Uh oh. Looks like I can run this one in PAL or NTSC OSB, but not NTSC XL/XE. Strange.
  16. Ok, so here we are. Finally ... Lone Raider. Now I need to learn how to play this game. The SCREAM sound when you die is hilarious, if a little horrifying. I've mentioned this to Orph already but the first time I was shot in the face by one of those tanks (and heard that sound) I nearly jumped out of my chair ... had to set down the joystick and spend some time away. All better now, though. Let's GO!
  17. The (L) Loader is great. Everything loads so fast, and you never have to turn off the computer to get back to the loader. I'm finally learning more about SDX too. Before now, I had only used disk versions of Sparta. Thanks for all the good work!
  18. Yeah, it has a slave slot underneath. No problems here so far.
  19. Dang, you got one of those sexy CF adaptors!!!! Yeah, I like it. Got from here and it took only 2-3 days to receive: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140523993608
