  1. I've not had a lot of time to play with it yet, but DAMN it looks nice.
  2. This month was crazy, so I didn't have a chance to play as much as I wanted. OK, here I go: Down Hill 60 - beg. 25:08, int. 34:81, exp. 56:00 Super Breakout - Standard - 205 ..Prog - 382 ..Dbl - 462 ..Cav - 502 Kaboom! - 1894 Wavy Navy (fandal atr) - 1840 (cook) Clowns & Balloons (Advanced) - 9300 Livewire! - 12450 Spy's Demise - 1122 River Rat - 77800 Juggler - 49550 Tilter - 17:8 (um, what happened again?) All I can do. Looking forward to the next round. Heh! (pics [for most] available upon request)
  3. Any shipping discount if I order two? (outside europe) Thanks
  4. I'm interested in 1. I may just ask you to add one to OrpheusWaking's order to save a few bucks on shipping, if it's ok with him. Guess I should check with Orph ...
  5. Interesting. I might need a little more info, though.
  6. I have a MIDI Mate interface (tested AND working) that I'd unload for about $35+shipping. No software, though. Looks just like the one pictured. I'd hate to sell it, but I never use it, and don't really have room near my Atari stuff to put together a proper MIDI setup.
  7. Wow, looks like I've missed a lot. I will get some more scores posted soon. Nothing extraordinary, but I did have a really lucky round of Tilter: 17.8 (will post a pic later). Special thanks to Marius for the XL/XE version of Juggler. I was playing that emulated because I have the games on a my-ide cartridge, which is not compatible with a translator. Also, to Philsan and Deteacher. Thanks for the tips! I've had a stelladaptor for quite a while but never realized that you could do this with Altirra. It's also pretty cool how it was learned that the Wavy Navy (file) has problems. I have a file version that DOES include the author's name (not "cracked by") but does NOT include the shooting helicopters. Glad to know that the one I have is not complete either. Thanks, as always, TRBB (for running the show).
  8. As far as I can tell, the versions of Conan that have appeared on cart work fine (the Steve Tucker version, and the more recent "multicart" that includes Conan, as well as 30+ other titles). I haven't played Jumpman very far, but the ATR file works fine, and it's a single 90k ATR, so it doesn't trouble me much to play it. A single ATR file of Conan would be a treat. I would certainly support any effort to bring Brundles to a single ATR image, while I'd imagine "filing" it would be impossible. Brundles on cart or single ATR would be pretty much the "holy grail" for me. It's 1 program disk and two ED levels disks, right? Tube Baddies filed would be nice too but, like Jumpman, it works fine from a single ATR.
  9. Nice selection of titles. I thought that I was the only one looking for those.
  10. I could probably be convinced to sell Star Raiders, Miner 2049er, and Bounty Bob Strikes Back for $100 (total) + shipping, if they're going to a good home.
  11. I'm surprised that that 2600-daptor works in paddle mode with Altirra. That is good news. For anyone who's interested, the procedure in this link worked very well for me, though I did have to do it again about a year later.
  12. Not much support for FUNSOFT RAIDERS. Since Lone Raider is in there, maybe the football team should be called the SILLY-NANNYS.
  13. Agreed. Maybe they should've hired Glenn.
  14. Dodge Racer (Games from '81, above) is written in Basic. As I recall, it was Synapse's first game. Also, I agree. Nerm of Bemer is a fun game. I think I typed it in back in the old days, but I can't remember for sure. Who published it?
  15. I've used real paddles with Atari 2600 emulators (and the Stelladaptor) but, as Deteacher mentioned, paddles are not supported with the Atari 8-bit emus (as far as I know). Too bad, because the adapter really does work well with Circus Atari. Oh, and Popeye (the arcade game) was a Nintendo release. It even had the same style cabinet as DK and DKJR. Let's play some games!
  16. Gyruss: 51900 Popeye: 14830 Bosconian: 9750 Mario Bros.: 57900 Zaxxon: 2500 Elevator Action: 3950
  17. 48450. The 2nd set of levels has all sorts of surprises! Fun game. I still think the "#" and "*" thing makes no sense, but ... also "2" to continue? Odd. This cart would not be very XEGS friendly (without a keyboard).
  18. I was thinking that the scores were the same regardless of whether you'd shot or jumped over your opponent in each case, but I have not examined it that closely.
  19. Haha, very funny stuff. Thanks for that. I disagree with Rybags (rarely), though, as I find the proper Montezuma's Revenge to be a solid source of endless fun.
