  1. Great score, dude. Hey, yeah, you beat me at one of my favorite games, but no hard feelings. I'm not that good at most games. Keep the higher scores coming!
  2. Donkey Kong - 86700. I've broken 100k on this before, but only once. The 3rd elevator screen took almost all of my lives (I had lost one on the 2nd pie screen earlier). Probably one of my top 10 favorites on any system: Atari 8-bit DK.
  3. Mathy's page has lots of great information. In fact, that's where I learned about BFE. However, I DID have to jump through a few hoops (worth it) to get it working. The important files can be found from this XL Search and I've attached a zip below, in case that's more convenient. mydos_bfe.zip
  4. I also use MyBFE, and it's great. You can set your ramdrive number in it, as well as a lot of other initial settings. It's really quite powerful, and was designed for MyDOS 4.50 (although I use it with MyDOS 4.53/4). I am also using it with MyIDE 3.5f. This is probably not very helpful as I may have misunderstood what you are trying to do, and since I am not familiar with MyRD2. (P.S. and O.T.: Hello to a fellow Indy person. I'm the one that sold you that P:R: Connection at my house near Broad Ripple 10 or so years ago. My name has changed a couple of times, and I do not resemble my avatar at all, so I thought that might not be obvious.) -John
  5. I think it was this one: Crystal Castles (1984) There may be some differences in the B&C version, though, but that one seems very complete as far as I can remember. I downloaded a cracked executable of it in the 80's from a local BBS.
  6. Haven't had a chance to play much lately, but there's time, right? Drelbs (16740) -- I'll do better though, I've always liked that one.
  7. Oh course, there is also this one: ftp://ftp.pigwa.net/stuff/collections/holmes%20cd/Holmes%201/ATR%20Programs/Applications%20A-Z/Touch%20Typing%20-basic.atr Little annoying with the flashing, and the linefeed problem, but it works, and I think it's been around for quite a while. My parents had purchased Touch Typing for the family at a local computer store back in the 80s, and the store was kind enough to put it on disk for them when we got a 1050. This was not the version they provided, but it's similar.
  8. This is a very good looking game. And it's even fun to play. Oh, and it works with NTSC. Nice.
  9. Well, I (for one) hope that Mike Slatari and Diggerbonk can join forces and really make this work.
  10. I purchased the first issue last month, and now I'm a subscriber. Thanks for making this available.
  11. Yeah, I think The Cleveland Show is in its 2nd season now. I've only seen part of one new one though.
  12. Didn't Dodge Racer come before Protector? Perhaps not, but the manual for Dodge Racer seems to lead one to think so. http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-dodge-racer_1655.html
  13. 167830, but I hope to still do better.
  14. I could go for some type-ins (as long as I don't have to type them in). Dodge Racer by Synapse. Has it been played here? It's almost a type-in. It's written in Basic, and I think it was Synapse's first commercial release. Orph, do you have a collection of Page 6 type-ins? There are also plenty of great games in the APX collection such as: Bean Machine Bumpomov's Dogs Chambers of Zorp Diggerbonk Dog Daze Kangaroo Lord of the Orb (I recently discovered this one, and it's pretty fun) Phobos Salmon Run (great sound effects, written by Bill Williams of Alley Cat fame)
  15. Nice collection. Some of those are for C64 (besides NYC), right?
  16. Nice pics, as usual, José.

  18. Guess that says, "Sell on ebay, buy elsewhere."
