The most I've paid to date is $40, for Metal Storm (NES). I have one exception to that ceiling: when I find a good copy of Ninja Gaiden Trilogy at a decent price. EDIT: come to think of it, screw that. I ought to just find someone to make a repro of it for me.

What didnt you like about it? Let me guess..the controller. If so, I will just say it takes getting used to. Ive been playing Intv since i was a kid, I have NO PROBLEM playing. I think I prefer the intv Controller to the Atari joystick on some games. Give it another try Godzilla!!! Well, the controller was definitely a problem. I played it back in... 1991ish. My buddy had a considerable library of games. It just didn't sit well with me. I'm definitely a much bigger fan of CV - to me, it takes the best of Atari and INTV and melds it into one console.

Well, I played Intellivision once in my entire life, and was not impressed. By INTV standards, that makes me a deviant. It's all about perspective.

$1500? Really? I... I'm sorry. It's paper and ink. Games are highly compressed sand. The asking price is an absolute insult to the community. What we NEED is a website with PDF scans of every Nintendo Power, now that it's defunct. Exorbitantly-priced auctions, we don't need. I know there are a lot of people that will be very excited about this, and, power to them - personally, this "level" of "collecting" disgusts me. And, OP, this is not a flame on you - I appreciate you posting this, as I appreciate anyone posting auctions of interest, whether or not I agree with the pricing, etc. This just ahppens to be the thread that all my rage exploded on. If there is still yellowing leftover after you remove the scent, try Retrobright on white/grey stuff. WOrks wonders (I know that's been posted all over here, but, it's relevant to this thread). My test games work with both my wireless 2600 controllers and a sega genesis controller. I doubt the controller is the issue. Is there a button I am supposed to press on the console that I am somehow missing? It's been awhile.

... I can't start half the games I own on my 7800 Jr. Yars Revenge & Superman are fine, but, with Venture, GI Joe Cobra Strike, and others, I'm jsut stuck on the startup screen. I've tried all the buttons, and nothing seems to work. I even opened the thing up, and it looks as clean as a whistle in there. Tell me I'm missing something obvious.
