  1. Question for those who have this unit... Do the CV flashback controllers work in an original Atari 2600? Strange question, I know. But I have 2600 adapter for my Wii with the ColecoVision Emulator. If the controller works on the 2600, then it should work on through the adapter. I'm not expecting the keypad to function, but the basic joystick and at least one fire button would be nice.
  2. I don't think this has been mentioned yet.. The rom works on the Wii ColecoVision emulator (WiiColEm) beautifully. Using the second player Wiimote by pressing the "+" you can access the second player virtual ColecoVision controller and enter the code for PacMan Plus as well.
  3. I second what Kamshaft said. If you want a good multicart, check out the Atari 5200 Ultimate SD cartridge. I too have the Colecovision Ultimate SD from the same guy. Both are solid products.
  4. In the case of the Competition Pro (which my arcade stick is based on), the original 5200 stick acts as the centers. The pots are used in conjunction with the arcade joystick. Center the 5200 stick and the arcade stick is centered. If the 5200 stick is off center, the arcade stick will act as if it is too. To my understanding, the pots range from 0-500... 250 being center. The Competition Pro is wired to allow a constant one-way connection for the analog signal. Move the arcade joystick in one direction, and the stick hits 500, move it to the other direction and it goes to 0. The stick at rest is at 250... center (provided the 5200 stick is centered).
  5. It was a cassette by US Gold. I agree, it would be nice if it were converted.
  6. I agree, and I have the Trak-Ball. I wouldn't want to play them any other way. The Trak-Ball can plug into into my controller and function too. This thread has renewed my interest in it. I thought maybe everyone would also like to see this too. I designed it to be customized. The arcade stick is mounted on a wood base underneath an acetate cover, so using a simple print-out, you can change the theme of the controller by changing the image under the acetate. I attached a picture of an unfinished one next to a ColecoVision theme. The controller is the same design, but wired differently for the Coleco. EDIT: I put together a 7800 one as well. The theme looks the same as the 5200, so I didn't post a picture. And it doesn't require a controller plug-in.
  7. Thank you! I've been a long time lurker.
  8. I made a joystick based off the Competition Pro. You plug the original 5200 controller into it for use of the keypad and special buttons. The digital joystick works quite well in every game except for ones like Breakout or Missile Command which require analog control.
