  1. Just a note of thanks to all of those who bid on this and a thumbing of the nose to all of you who thought it was a fake and emailed me telling me so. Here's my feedback on it. << rick63(475) May-13-03 16:08:04 PDT 3021193424 S Praise : fast shipping, smooth transaction, great item!! >> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3021193424 Chris
  2. This is the seller again. There is alot of paranoia about this auction for Atlantis II. I hooked up my Atari and it plays fine. No problems whatsoever. It's fast. I took screen shots but have no clue how to post them here. The score has a blocked in look which differentiates it from the original Atlantis. It's the real deal gentlemen. No fake. Don't be paranoid. I said I'd offer anyone a refund if its not what it purports to be. It is the *real* ATLANTIS II game with the box. (And to whomever just posted about it not being shrink wrapped, you are correct. My label fell off. The adhesive had to have disintegrated at some point. My boxes label looked exactly like the picture a few posts back... typewritten on a white label. I'll email you screen shots if you want them, OR someone tell me how to post them here.
  3. I am the person auctioning Atlatis II on ebay right now. Rest assured this the real Atlantis II video game. I entered the contest back in 1982 and rolled the high score many times over a one day marathon of playing. I took my polaroids of the screen, sent them in and in a few weeks Atlantis II showed up along with a letter from Imagic stating that so many people had rolled the score, that now I had to play Atlantis II and get a high score on that. The game play is much faster and ships are worth a lot less. I became frustrated because I could not get a grip on the game in the amount of time Imagic gave me. I sent my high score and after a very long amount of time (and several letters from my mother to Imagic) I received some crappy, ill-fitting swim fins, snorkel and goggles and a size medium Atlantis T-Shirt which was too small for me. I am now a commercial arts teacher in St. Petersburg Florida and am doing some traveling this summer and needed some extra dough. That's why I'm selling it. I haven;t hooked up my Atari in over 10 years and don't intend to just to get another "screen shot." You'll have to take my word for it. Back in the day I was just like you. I still have my Atari console, the boxes and instructions and about 400 games total in plastic tubs in my closet. I have the Starpath Supersharger and track balls and all kinds of stuff I don't want to sell. The game is real! Money back if not satisfied. P.S. I had the cellophane with the typewriter "Atlantis II" label on it but it must have lost its adhesiveness and come off at some point. Questions? Email me at [email protected] Check my feedback. It's the real deal. ALSO, the Crazy Climber I am auctioning is real, the King Kong I am auctioning is real and the Miner 2049er II I am auctioning is real.[/img]
