      Crash still exists?

1st game convinced me to buy my first Playstation. Toasted everything I had previously seen on the Jaguar+CD which was my newest console at the time.

I didn't know they were making HD remakes of the three PSX games, that's really cool! :)

  2. I am very bad at Killer Instinct for the SNES but I really do love the soundtrack! Especially the intro... :)

There's one game I just never owned for the SNEZZ...

I was impressed back in the day, although the controls (unless you had the arcade stuff) were pretty tiny. All the half circle, full circle, quarter circle moves and having to keep doing them over and over to keep up combos. Had fun with it, though.

    3. Ska_music_fan83

      Ska_music_fan83

Yeah unlike Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat it's all about how many combos you can do which are really difficult to pull off sometimes.

  3. I'm excited that I'm already halfway done with my "Sharknado" Halloween costume!! :)

  4. Just bought a Super Retro Trio, it's pretty cool! For anyone who doesn't have a lot of space (or doesn't want all of that clutter) but still wants the NES/SNES/Genesis all hooked up and still play the original games it's not a bad way to go!

Oh! I've never heard of the Retro Freak, I had to look it up. It looks pretty cool! Interesting that they added the Turbo Graphx 16 on it!

Unfortunately this console is Broken and will have to be returned. I hope you have better luck with yours!

I'm sorry to hear that. :( So far it's working fine... (knocks on wood)

  5. Question for E-bay veteran sellers: I just sold an item via auction to someone on Saturday. They have yet to pay me. I was thinking of messaging them to see what the scoop is. Is it common for someone to take this long to pay for an item they win?

That game was tough as balls!

  7. The boss at the end of the "Body Weapon" mission in Shinobi 3 used to really creep me out when I was little, and after playing it again today, that boss still creeps me out...

    1. GameGirl420

      GameGirl420

lol I get creeped out by some of the levels on R-Type. The backgrounds with the guts looks nasty.

    2. Ska_music_fan83

      Ska_music_fan83

lol yeah I was never a fan of R-Type for that reason.

  8. Just played through both sets of missions on Commando for Atari 7800. Such a great game! :D It really shows off what the 7800 was capable of.

    1. SoulBlazer

      SoulBlazer

I'm still preferring the NES version cause I grew up with that (and it has more features, such as a continue), but the 7800 version is a gem on the system for sure. Really impressive.

  9. Was at Star Wars Trivia wed night and for one of the questions we had to name the system that each game came out for. I was only the person in the bar who knew that Star Wars Jedi Arena came out on the Atari 2600. Apparently, there weren't any other video game nerds. :D

  10. Mind blown! You can download and play Red Alert for free online now! The 10 year old in me is super happy!! http://cncnet.org/red-alert

      I miss LeRoi Moore.

  13. I've been watching "Halt and Catch Fire" and they are a company supporting internet-style games and chatrooms by use of the Commodore 64. Was anything like that even possible in 1985? I thought that was more early 90s...

    1. R.Cade

      R.Cade

Sure... Compuserve and others were around since early 80's and CBM-specific QuantumLink was also.

  18. Just bought Streets of Rage 2 for Sega from the local game store. And I am totally remembering why I loved this game so much as a kid. :)

I've seen Mustard Plug like 5 times! :)

But yeah so I listen to them, Buck-O-Nine, Less Than Jake, No Doubt (early stuff before they got weird and poppy), Save Ferris, The Toasters, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Goldfinger, and Reel Big Fish.

  21. It has to be said... the Chao Race mode on Sonic Adventure Battle 2 for the Gamecube is just TOO CUTE!

      Video_Invader

Probably something that could only come from a girl but with that being said, i played it on the Dreamcast (where it should be played) and was quite fun. Only thing about the Chao race is that i always come in last.
