  1. The Horde - by Jacobus The Hunt - by Ilmenit, Ripek, stRing (PDF manual) Impact M4 - new multijoy version by Fandal (original "Impact" game: D. Buehler) Jan Ken Pon (rock-paper-scissors game) - by Sikor, Miker Kiki Pong - by Yolk, Ripek, stRing Koza Fighter ("Goat Fighter") - by Nosty, Insert, Jakub Husak Labirynty Robbo ("Labyrinths of Robbo") - new levels by Sikor (original "Robbo" game: Janusz Pelc)
  2. UPDATE: Xeen thought that "HAR'em" versions in 2012 and 2013 packages were different, that's why he wrote that voting for HAR'em was legal. However, after pointing out that the versions are the same, he changed his decision. Please do not vote for HAR'em this year.
  3. Deathchase XE - by XXL, Adam, Odyn1ec, stRing Deathrace without Jason Statham (written in 10 lines of BASIC) - by thorsten_guenther Dev War - by Cliff Hatch Dice 2013 - by Sikor, Miker Dynakillers Unchained - by Matosimi (new extended version, including multijoy support; original "Dynakillers" game: M. Chorvat, R. Pecnik, M. Vybostok) Heisser Draht (written in 10 lines of BASIC) - by Seaman Heli in the Caves - by Creature XL, Exin, 505, Flash (read the manual to know how to turn your helicopter ) Helicops - by Raster, Fandal, Adam, 505 (multijoy game, up to 5 players)
  4. Daffy - the latest version from 2013 was missing on AtariOnLine (look for Daffy.xex file at the same place now). The corrected version of the games package is HERE Well, it's complicated... This version (RC1) was actually included in games package for KazKompo 2012 voting. So it seems that last year people voted for the final release... Xeen made a mistake and added "HAR'em" to the 2013 package. Some people downloaded the package and gave it some points, so Xeen's decision is: it's legal to vote for this game this year (again). Sorry for all the confusion.
  5. 7 collections of new levels of "Boulder Dash" by Edgardo "Doctor Mugen" Aranda (original game: Chris Gray, Peter Liepa): Boulder Dash Mugen 9, Boulder Dash Mugen 10, Boulder Dash Mugen 11 Boulder Dash Mugen 12, Boulder Dash Mugen 13 Boulder Dash Mugen 14, Boulder Dash Mugen Extras Box1ng (written in 10 lines of BASIC, for 2 players) - by 1NG Catch the X (written in 10 lines of BASIC, for 2 players, requires paddle controllers) - by Sleepy Centment - by John Croudy (type "GO" to play) Daffy - by Gonzo

  7. DeLorean as "Back to the Future" reference => "Back to the Future" Day (October 21st, 2015)
  8. "Balz" was the winner of Fortification party held in Poland last year, second was "Koza Fighter", and third "Robo Type".
  9. You have to choose such path going from the entry field to the exit, that the points on the chosen fields sum up to the "GOAL" value. "YOU" shows how many points you have already collected. On the attached screenshot you may see an example of the right path just before finishing the level.
  10. Hi Sikor, I was asked three days ago by Xeen to prepare the official thread on AtariAge. I have noticed your thread, but I believe the official thread needs to have more appropriate form: - the proper name of the contest in its title, - descriptive tags added, - more detailed description in the title - not everyone has to know what "Kaz Kompo" is: last year only 2 people voted on AtariAge (compare it to more than 60 votes on AtariOnLine at that time), so the contest is not widely recognizable here... let's hope it would slightly change this year ) I hope you'll understand. Sorry for any inconvenience. Greetings, Adam

  12. Shortened version of Kaz Kompo rules: The contest is open to all games released in year 2013 for the Atari 8-bit computers. No matter whether they are commercial or freeware games, awarded in other contests or not, whether they require expansion or not, etc. Important is that they became publicly available between January 1st and December 31st 2013. If something is missing on the list - let know to Xeen. You can vote by adding your comment in this thread or by sending an email to Xeen (mcora @ tlen . pl). All the votes (nickname + given points) will be published with the announcement of the voting results. The authors and co-authors of the games participating in the contest may vote for their own works. Vote for 10 games, specifying their order. The points will be given as follows: 1st place - 10 points, 2nd place - 9 points, ... , 10th place - 1 point. The voting ends on midnight of June 15th/16th, 2014. Several prizes will be drawn among the voters. There are no material prizes for the winning games creators, the only prize is the achievement of being on the podium and the right to use golden, silver or bronze Kaz Kompo winner logo.

The ZIP file with all the entries (except one commercial game “Venture”) is downloadable HERE There will be more information in this thread soon. Have fun!
  14. Thanks for showing the whole list and adding some new games I have compared your list with the current Top 100 games by rating list in Atarimania. What is missing: 3-D Tic-Tac-Toe Assault Force 3-D Asteroids Emulator Blinky's Scary School Capture the Flag Deluxe Invaders Fantasyland 2041 AD Gigablast International Karate James Bond 007 Jet Set Willy 2007 Leaper Mission Schreckenstein Space Harrier Space Invaders Spindizzy Tagalon Trailblazer Vanguard Vicky Warhawk Zaxxon Zenji Zork I
  15. I think all those games are there (on Atarimania) in the last version (except RR). But generally for newer games I would suggest Fandal's site, it's more up-to-date and complete.
  16. Nice collection, starwindz , but some important games from the last few years are missing - for example: Space Harrier, His Dark Majesty, Bomb Jack, Callisto, Ridiculous Reality (but please get the final version, not the version from Atarimania), Knight Lore etc.
  17. Yeah, it's one of those brilliant games: simple rules & great playability.
  18. There was an 8-bit Atari party "Grzybsoniada" this weekend in Poland and new game "2048" was shown there: link Have fun!
  19. Oh, and the latest commercial game which exists only in paid version is probably Venture.
  20. There's quite a lot of new games, check the links from Sikor's post, but some of them are clones of "Robbo" or "Boulder Dash". Every year there is a competition announced on AtariOnLine.pl (called Kaz Kompo) and we vote on games from the previous year. In Kaz Kompo 2011 there was 58 entries, in Kaz Kompo 2012 there was 70 entries and there should be announced Kaz Kompo 2013 soon BTW: It's a pity that www.atarimania.com, very popular site, doesn't update its 8-bit resources regularly - the newest A8 games available there come from April 2013
  21. Some other games: those which use graphics mode 9: Colony 7 (22 colours), Disc Hopper (sometimes more than 60), Space Lobsters (23) simple "Atari rainbow" effect all over the screen: Saracen (22) more sophisticated use of colours: Technoid (31)
  22. It's already implemented in 10 lines Under the title "2047" because of some simplifying.
  23. Two comments: Not EVERYTHING can be fixed for NTSC (I'm not talking here about "DRUTT" game). No, the Americas do not intentionally "code to work everywhere", they just write the code and it also works in PAL. They don't have to make any additional effort, right? But your comment suggests, that there is one (good) group of programmers, who care about the others, and the second (bad) group of PAL guys who don't care.
  24. I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier. No, it's not random. Like MaPa wrote, it depends not only on the "temperature" seen on the right, but also on the number of faces elements on screen. However, in the ABBUC version the difference between speed modes seems to be too rapid and we will change it in the next version, which should be also easier at the beginning. Adam
