  1. Yeah you might need the link, funny that!-http://www.angelfire.com/electronic2/projectst/
  2. Hi guys. Just thought I'd let you know about my website (crappy looking I know). Have a few hardware solutions for you to look at. Including USB and ethernet cards. As well as the new portable ST. Thanx
  3. Sounds good! Thats what I've done with a few of my setups! Congrats on the good results A2600.
  4. Thanx Serblander. I'm going to have to take the plunge, however I don't have a credit card! Can I use Australian bank cheques overseas? I wouldn't think so!
  5. Apparently substation used the midi port for multiplaying. Haven't tried it though. I'm sure its good fun, blasting your buddy away.
  6. Sorry Gunstar, wasn't having a go at your abilities! Anyway you'll need the STe and maybe the Mega STe + Falcon schematics, get them at- http://atari.greatnow.com/. Also check out- http://atari4ever.free.fr/hardware/ for hardware hacks. If you study the schematcs carefully (especially Mega STe). You will be able to see how things like the FPU are linked to the cpu. Changing your ram to SIMMS, adding a blitter and attaching cache. Upgrading to a MC68030 would be costly but worth it, would take some effort, but easily reachable. Cheers
  7. Buggy boy is fun! But not really a serious racer. Super hang-on was ok, but the genesis/mega drive version was better
  8. Well! If your icons seem corrupted, I would suggest that your TOS roms are faulty or loose, check them out! If they are fine, try running a TOS select program which loads TOS versions into ram.
  9. Yes I'm an Australian Atari fan. Yet I have not got a jaguar. Although thats defenitly on the top of my list to purchase. I'm reluctant to buy stuff from overseas. So if anyway in Australia wants to offload some jaguar gear, then I'm your man!
  10. As far as I know, it was still going ahead. I don't see how it can take that long to produce such a kit. The estimated price tag of $150 is a monumental rip-off. If I sat down with a few schematics, I could come up with a board in a few weeks for the fraction of the cost.
  11. Actually, nevermind. I found your email in the trash can
  12. Sorry! That email address is loaded with spam. I think I deleted your email by accident. (oops) Ive updated my email, to a new address. Please send all emails there. Thanx (I won't delete them)
  13. If its the power light (bottom left corner of the machine) then no its fine. If the disk light is staying on, then something is wrong! I would suggest checking the floppy cable, to see if it is connected properly. The machine will not boot if it cannot find the floppy drive! Try that and get back to me
  14. Actaully it is possible to upgrade your ST to an STe. However you must be extremely good at electronics, if your not good at soldereing and reading schematics, then I wouldn't bother. Its quite easy to overclock the cpu (would be faster than STe), add cache, a fpu and even a DSP!!!. But it all takes time and money, and probably isn't worth going all the way. However I have attempted a few of these things and I must say the performance is worth it. Cheers!
  15. Checkout ebay dude! Its your best bet!
  16. Yes there are clock carts available for the ST. I have a 'Forget me clock 2' cartridge running on my STe. Just plugs straight in. You use a .prg file in your auto folder to initiate it. You will need a Y2K patch available on the net to fix the dreaded bug! Let me know if you need any files or further help. Cheers
  17. Have you tried opening up your Falcon? Check to see if the keyboard connection is correctly inplace on the main motherboard. If it has come loose then both your keyboard and mouse (+ joystick) will not function properly or not at all! Let me know how you go!
  18. Lo Wang rocks! Yes this game is fun to play, but not as good as Duke3d. However the effects, such as transparent water and 3d voxel objects are excellent. I used to make levels for those build games, oh those were the days- without 3d accelerators (and pentiums)
  19. I've never done it myself. I presume however that you would need to make your STe IDE or SCSI compatible. I would suggest IDE as it is simple and most people work with IDE devices as standard these days. There are numerous plans on the net if you search on google. Apart from that you may need a driver so that TOS can recognise the device. I know that Clint Thompson has a CDROm on his Falcon, he should know for sure.
  20. Yes I have AOD for PS2! At first I didn't like the game, but stick at it! The storey line becomes interesting and the graphics are definetely worth it. Yes the controls are very tricky, well damn right stupid I say. The levels are varied and you will be rewarded, however don't expect Lara to always do what you want her to! (Wish I could, hmmm!)
  21. Yes! Revelations was good, I own that one, never bothered to finish it, don't know why! Perhaps because old habits die hard! I pulled out the Saturn version today and boy I have forgotten how dated it is, however after a few minutes of play I was right back into it again! This game was probably one of the biggest reasons I kept my Saturn in the early days. Still a masterpiece. Long live Lara! P.s What do you all think of the movie? I thought it was quite daft compared to the game. New one looks better!
  22. Ah Tomb Raider. I first played this game on the Saturn and I must say this is absolutely the best game I've ever played. The sequels I thought were a waste of time, the new game is not bad; but u can never beat the original. Great level design, excellent textures, thoughtful monsters, fabulous music and a sexy lady! Can't be surpassed EVER!
  23. Yes the Saturn was tops! I remember paying big $$ to buy it way back in 96' and boy I had some fun with it, even though I was about the only person in my area to own one! I've never heard a Saturn owner say bad things about the system!
  24. Hey dude! I just purchased the new Tomb Raider on PS2. I must say I was a little disappointed upon first inspections, but it has grown on me. The graphics are definetly light years ahead of previous games. However the game mechanics have been totally reworked and its more like playing resident evil. However Lara looks damn hot. The changes take a while to get used to (I prefer the old mechanics) and the camera angles suck, but hey Im having fun with it! cheers!
  25. I always liked the title music from gauntlet, but then again that was an arcade game. Some of the homebrew demos nowadays are awesome, better than some modern video game music. 80's FM chip music was and always will be the best.
