Pre-orders for Endless Snow 2600 now being accepted
classiccollector replied to rjchamp3's topic in Atari 2600
Just sent payment for cart only. -
Congrats on getting your games onto a cart, They look fantastic. I am enjoying playing Graces Fowl Hunt and think it's a pretty good game. Once again Congrats.

Like I said, given the opportunity to buy from the original developer I would, but if they don't want to sell a copy to me cause they want to limit it, then what other option is there? I would even be happy with a ROM to put on my Harmony Cart, I just want to play games. I am a gamer first, and a collector second. I have bought many games from Atariage and from people who sell their games through here and am happy to support them, and would never pay for a "pirated" game that is available through the developers and publishers, I'm talking about games that are no longer available, and the devs won't take my money to get a "real" cart.

Ya I agree, I don't understand why you would build a game just for a limited run of 30-40 people to enjoy. Games are meant to be played not hoarded. I would never pay that amount of money for a homebrew no matter how good it is. I know that PR was under different circumstances & that they are no longer being made but at least they released the ROM so everyone can enjoy it. Had I not gotten a copy and my only option was to spend $400 for a copy or spend $15 for a copy from Hozer Video Games you bet I wouldn't hesitate to Spend $15 on it. The label can always be peeled off. No biggie for me, Just my 2 cents. Let me also just say that I would only go that way if buying an actual cart was not available due to short runs. I would support the developers of such games but if they don't want my money then I have no choice but to look elswhere for them.

These are both fun games (as far as kids are concerned). I think a cheering crowd would be great if you could add that in but other than that no real issues.

I Think it's a great start to a fine game, I do agree that the jumping to platform needs to be worked on but overall a great start. Keep up the good work.

Thank-you for sharing these great games. My new favorite game to play with my girl friend is Flip side.

Muncher 2600 ROM and Source released
classiccollector replied to Wickeycolumbus's topic in Homebrew Discussion
Thanks, been playing my cart of this, so now I can put it on my Harmony Cart, Thanks for a wonderful game and your generosity of releasing it. -
I think I would like a boxed copy with t-shirt also instead of just the cart if I have the funds for it at the time (Crosses Fingers), but will be happy with the cart only release.

Will this plug work with my Atari 2600
classiccollector replied to classiccollector's topic in Hardware
Thanks, for the reply I thought it should work but just wanted to make sure. -
Hi all, I just bought an Atari 2600 Vader style unit with 2 Gemini controllers for $7.99. The power plug that came with it is a Archer Ac Adapter that can be used for different items. My question is will this plug work for my Vader unit? The plug states Input: 120 V AC 60Hz 12W and out put :9V DC 500mA. I ask because my other Atari plug states for input 9W not 12W so I just don't want to ruin anything. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks classiccollector
