  1. I had a Tomy Atomic Pinball when I was a kid. I was just talking with my brother a few days ago about all the great Tomy toys we grew up with! I was thinking I wouldn't mind getting a nice Atomic Pinball again, but I don't know where I'd put it.
  2. Mouse Trap - what a great game! The hawks make skill 3 quite difficult. 43,090
  3. Does anyone know if any homebrews have similar elements which only come into play at levels three and four?
  4. A blessing and a curse: great video game related display items I can enjoy hunting and haggling for, but also something else to chomp on my coinage like Pacman.
  5. Thank you for all the great stuff! The trading cards are a nice touch! I have a compete and minty set minus two of the oddball scratch-offs which I believe aren't technically part of the set. I'm tempted to open the pack you sent to see if the fates have sent them my way...
  6. Shockingly awesome. You have given me hope I will be able to display my collections some day instead of keeping them hidden away in bags and boxes. Also, I now have a new item I want to collect: marquees!
  7. Nice score! I need to work on a strategy for Space Panic, as I am new to that game. I did, however beat my Tapper score again (423,775). I think I could have gotten an even better score, but it was a long game- I was almost late to work. I'm glad you decided to participate. Having to learn new strategies is part of the fun of playing on skill three. I also heard something intriguing recently, and I wonder if anyone can confirm it. Apparently, cv arcade ports have game play elements or features which are only included on higher difficulty settings. I've got a stack of games to "research!"
  8. I just beat my Tapper score! 288,950 - It gets really tough when you get back to the saloon.
  9. I just started playing this game yesterday, so I have no idea what a good score is on Skill 3. Frenzy -7,841
  10. I will start off with an arcade favorite of mine- Tapper (230,775).
  11. I find many Colecovision games maintain a good balance of difficulty and fun when played at skill level three. I wanted a place to challenge others and to be challenged at level three- no time frame, post whatever game you wish, whenever. If you have a game you are adept at and want to see how you match up against others, let this thread be an informal place to throw down the gauntlet. Post your high score pictures and let the challenge begin!
  12. I just tried cleaning it. There was hardly anything on the contacts to clean off. No resurrection yet, which is unfortunate. The cartridge is in excellent condition.
  13. So, I have started testing some of these games. I have a couple questions. My Space Fury cart just makes a dissonant chord when I power on the cv. I'm going to try cleaning the contacts, but I was wondering if there are any other tricks to try or if this is a symptom of cart death. My next question- why have I never heard Subroc on the hardest setting is incredibly fun?!
  14. I have those games cib and near mint minus Aquattack, Super Sketch, Sammy Lightfoot, and Tennis.
  15. Thanks for the info yet again! I always appreciate your CV insights and information. I am extremely happy I stuck with my original plans of keeping everything. Getting these great items today helped me realize I wouldn't mind going for a complete set. It is my most complete collection out of all the consoles I have (and the most quickly acquired in only about seven months). I am getting hooked on CV quickly- it's the only system I have bought homebrews for, but I think I need to take a break from purchasing those for now. What are the hardest to find cv games?
  16. I've had trouble viewing my gallery before, but right now, it's working fine. I don't know why the links aren't working for some people. Here is a pic.
  17. I went browsing on a whim today and found more great stuff than I expected to. I would appreciate any thoughts, opinions, or value estimates anyone would care to share. My cib CV collection is getting stronger by leaps and bounds! http://atariage.com/.../8621-2013-cv1/ http://atariage.com/.../8622-2013-cv2/ http://atariage.com/.../8623-2013-cv3/ http://atariage.com/.../8624-2013-cv4/ http://atariage.com/.../8625-2013-cv5/
  18. Most of my Colecovision and Atari items are displayed here.
