I had a lot of fun. Thank you to all involved. To everyone who submitted scores- well done, you have faced off against quite a difficult game.

I can't believe Wispfollower scored 100k more in so short time!
I mean I barely believe I jumped from 154k to 230k!
Congratulations, Wispfollower. It seems you can take any rabbit, no matter its size, whenever you want!
Congrats to you, as well! It was a showdown to be remembered.

Instead of adding a bunch of quotes, I will just sum it up by saying thank you for the compliments, everyone!
You never know when you will get a big score. I remember starting off just so-so. I lost a couple lives in stupid ways, then went on a long streak on one life. What I do is establish rules for each screen, just like I did with Christmas Carol. I can break the rules if I think the risk is worth it and I have some back up lives. However, to progress through the most screens, I try to stick to the rules. Perhaps that's why my later lives net the most points.. by then, I'm so worried about dying, I stop taking as many risks. It really helps to get over the rushed feeling I always have with timed/bonus points based games. I realized I will gladly sacrifice a few hundred points to make it through the levels safely (following the "rules" of the board).

I gotcha. I'm not upset, I was just confused. Tough to tell sometimes over the internet, you know?

This is so wrong, so callous! I remember seeing the Dude's video a while back.. I was enraged after watching it. Seeing all these pictures now, I feel a mixture of anger and sadness. Those excellent pieces sat, untouched, for many years.. only to be assassinated on their final journey. There must be some way to preserve the games. I just wonder if they have no knowledge of games being collector items and think it is some clever ruse.

I haven't been here too long myself, but I'd like to think I can still say welcome. I had taken a long break from Intellivision until late last year. It feels good to be playing again, and I can't believe I was away from it for so long. You've put up some great scores in the short time you have been here. Cheers to many more!

I remember playing long games of BEEEEE Seblen-teen Bawmerrrrrrrrrr, I guess I'm not sure how popular it really is.

I would suggest the Honyu Explorer. It does have a somewhat large base (although smaller than the Advantage). The button action is excellent, especially if you thought the Advantage was sticky or unresponsive.

I am glad to hear mixing and matching power supplies has not hurt anyone here. I don't claim to be an expert on the matter (far from it). I recently misplaced my original power supply for my intv ii and was distraught to find they are a bit expensive and tough to find by themselves. I was more distraught when I kept reading grave warnings about not using anything except the original.. slight differences were said to cause overheating and other issues which may result in console death. I know you can't believe all you read, but I am always over cautious when it comes to my gaming equipment.

I'm using the Advantage and I think it works pretty well for this game. Although I generally prefer a joystick over a gamepad too so it may just be what you're used to.
I agree with you. The NES Advantage works well for me on this game, but I actually haven't even tried anything else besides my computer keyboard. The Advantage is also one of my go-to controllers (for NES and other systems on emulators), so perhaps I am just accustomed to it.

looking for any sealed nes games?
I might as well just admit this: I will consider buying anything nes related.

Hello, all. I posted this on NA, but I thought I would post it here, as well.
I am looking for complete nes games in great condition. If you have any which still have the shrinkwrap, all the inserts, plastic bag the cartridge came in, little to no wear on the top flap, etc., then that is excellent! However, I realize most games do not survive in such shape. The closer to the status I described, the better. Pricing is always negotiable, as condition is important. I use Paypal.
I have two lists I will update as more coins fill my coffers.
Here, I will list items I am ready to buy immediately:
-Bump N Jump
-Ms. Pacman
-Paperboy
-Pinbot
-Star Force
Here, I will list items I have been seeking for a long time and with which the condition matters most:
-KOEI games
-Culture Brain games
-Hudson games
-Smash TV
-Quickshot accessories
-Docking Bay 10's and 20's (prefer NIB, but will check out any)
-River City Ransom
-Maniac Mansion
I enjoy making deals on lots, if possible, to make the shipping costs worth it. So, if you have one item on my list and others which are not, but match my desired condition, please feel free to let me know. I am always interested to see what you might have to offer.
Thank you for your time!

Well said. Atari Age is a great community. In fact, it seems to be in some secret corner of the internet where just about everyone is a really cool person. It is an anomaly.
