  1. Thanks for all the help, everyone. Smash TV on NES is one of my favorite games of all time.. the dual stick controls make for an addicting and fast paced cyclone of carnage. Robotron is another great dual stick game, but I haven't tried the N64 incarnation yet. Gauntlet Legends on Dreamcast is one of my favorites.. so many enemies to massacre. I really enjoy Galaxian on Colecovision, I just need a lot of practice. Believe it or not, I enjoy a good game of Radar Scope now and then, as well. I need to go through my collection a bit more to find additional examples. Sometimes, I forget about a gem for a while and rediscover it later.

  2. I was hoping to get some feedback from this wise community on finding games of a semi-specific game play style. Sometimes, I crave a certain type of game which may have one or more of the following characteristics: levels/waves of enemies (possibly endless), upgradeable abilities/weapons, powerups, bonus items/points, chance games between rounds, earning money/points to spend, fast paced action, and hordes of bad guys. I have a handful of games like this which I love and play to death, but I figure there has to be many more I may have a hard time finding. I would like to hear suggestions for any system, but here is a quick list of systems I already have set up: nes, Intellivision, mame, Colecovision, N64, SNES, xbox, Dreamcast, Wii, psp, ps1, ps2, and ps3.

Thank you in advance for your input.

  3. I can't believe someone who would plan and execute such a scam would be allowed to continue making transactions. I am also amazed each time I hear about something like this, no matter how many times it happens. I like to think classic gaming attracts mostly decent people, but I suppose it is inevitable some will not be.

I thought that this one was first-party, but it turns out that Hori makes it. Still awesome though, and I still want one real bad.

Wow, I have never seen that controller before. I want one as well! So, does that little switch in the middle allow for compatibility on an ntsc nes and a super famicom? That is what I am hoping.

  5. It seems every time I read an article or watch a video about any intv game, the reviewer feels obligated to mention the low popularity of the controllers, even calling them a disaster. I always enjoyed the intv controllers, as they are different from any other system, just like the games. I'm not sure which model I prefer. The intv 1 controllers are probably the most nostalgic for me, but they both have their pros and cons. I have never tried using sears controllers.. I am definitely interested in trying some.

The disc just works so well with Burgertime. I like intv Burgertime better than the arcade, but to be fair, I have played the intv version for countless hours compared to just a few on the arcade.
