Are you using those as bricks in your Intellicastle wall?

Pm has been sent.

I played Adventure Island when I was a kid and only recently discovered the sequels. Great games. I discovered Smash TV when I was in college. All nighters were pulled.

Please someone make a perfect Tapper port! Much appreciated.

as for wave 2, the red grubby ones, if you can only split apart 1 and finish it off at a time, you would minimize the enemies flying around after you, good luck on that however.
Definitely a good strategy to attempt. Tough to implement. When all four are flying solo, it is chaos.

This game is tough, my high so far is 1806. I'll try again tomorrow. What's the trick to the second wave that comes, the red guys that come in pairs of two? They always tear me apart.
Those guys are the worst. Shoot and dodge. Repeat.I'm slowly developing better strategies for psyching them out.

Ax, thank you for making this thread. It is a great discussion I have been curious to see played out.
I thought at first I probably wouldn't get an sgm, as I just started cv collecting this year (and spent a lot of money relative to my usual gaming budget). Then, I heard an epic version of DK was coming out. This swayed me a bit, as I love DK, and to have an amazing console version would please me greatly. If someone did what Ransom said and made a bug free Burgertime, I would be swayed even more. Now, if someone announced an arcade perfect port of Tapper was on the way, I would be ready to spend my food money to make sure I got a copy.

Nice scores. Where is everyone else??

I absolutely love using an nes advantage with Colecovision, Intellivision, and mame emulators. It gives a great arcade action feel. It is one of my favorite controllers of all time- huge, durable, and excellent button/stick action.

You want to beat the world record ?

It never hurts to try. Well, it can hurt my hands sometimes.

This game is tough. Anyone know the world record score?

Nice collection!

Thank you!

I'll get some pics up of the other cables soon, but here are the controllers.

I'm getting excited about finding this thing. Thanks for the info everyone!

As if your avatar doesn't give it away, but you're showing your age!

This "strange" technology is how we used to communicate via baud rate modems and play/record our games and programs to magnetic media waaaaay back before you were born.

Haha, yeah I didn't mean to insult it. I guess I didn't elaborate on my thoughts. I was thinking about the context of it being used to plug a video game cartridge into a cassette or cd player. It's like some video game creator was a less extreme version of Dr. Frankenstein, making crazy combinations.

It seems like such a strange technology. Thanks for the tips!

I picked up some miscellaneous stuff today. I can google some stuff about it, but it only takes me so far. I was hoping I could get a little help from the wise collectors and historians around here, as I've noticed sometimes a single person on Atari Age knows more than a search engine on particular topics.
Any info is appreciated- history, function, use, rarity, current value, etc.
Thank you!

Hello, I was hoping someone might be able to help me learn more about some accessories I have.
First, I was wondering about two Suncom controllers which I believe are called joy sensors. I have two- one black and one silver. What is the purpose of these? Are they fun to use? Any value?
Next, I have all different variations on what seem to be similar cables. Wico and a couple other brands, all.new. Some are plastic bags with cardboard tops. Some are cardboard boxes. They are y cables for plugging two controllers into one port. I think one group of packages said Questar..? Does anyone need these? Any value or rarity?
Lastly, I'm wondering if there is any possible way to use an Atari Accuball or Trakball on Colecovision. I realize I will probably just need to get a roller controller, but I thought I would ask.
Thanks!

I saved this score for a few days, as I thought I could top it. I came close over and over, but apparently hit my maximum for now.
