I got my SCBT today, but I forgot my only working intv adapter was accidentally taken in a recent move. Bummer.
-
Well I need to play the classic to warm up while I wait for SCBT!
-
I just got my order in. I can't wait to throw down on some Burgertime!

Not that I'm complaining, since I acquired a few incredible items, but how and why was such an impressive collection put up for sale on Atari2600.com? It's sad in a way to see someone parting with such a collection.
-
I ended up not buying that one because I couldn't justify the added expense of it being sealed especially since the first thing that I would do would be to open it. So hopefully it found a good home with a Sealed CIB collector. I did purchase one CIB from an AtariAge member for a much more reasonable price and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall condition.
Nice. It's good to hear you found what you were looking for. I'm curious- was the sealed SS you were looking at the one on Atari2600.com? I'm just wondering how many sealed ones could possibly be out there. It doesn't seem likely there are many.
-
NIAD, did you ever get that sealed SS you mentioned?

There's a boxed Super Sketch on E-bay right now (not mine).....it's currently at $843.00 with a little over a day left on the auction.
Like the Wiz Math auction, I'm very curious to see where this ends up.

I had this discussion recently with two other members and feel pretty vindicated on the price that I thought would be justified for a CIB or NIB after this loose one came up on eBay. The $345 price for the loose one would be an above-average price, seeing as one hasn't turned up for public sale in about two years, and a bidding war insued.
I'm sorry to say that I am keeping my mouth shut on my opinion of this one until I have finalized a deal that I have been working on to acquire a NIB.
Any news on this?

Got this one waiting for me in the Redbox. If I have to answer the GD phone all the time its a no go. May as well make me do virtual taxes and go tho the dentist.
I miss the rampages from Vice City.
I also miss Pizza boy, taxi driver, ambulance, fire and vigilante missions.
Rampages are back and hilariously fun. Also, sleep mode is your friend. See my post above about it. GTA IV had it, and so does GTA V.

I want to get a bunch of new tables, but I'm thinking I'll just wait until PS4 comes out, since I don't know if I will have to purchase them again.
Oh well, I have gotten some huge high scores lately from playing the same tables so much.
-
You can adjust the camera height in settings. I'm sure there is a nice view for anyone's preferences. As for the phone messages, go into settings in the phone, and turn on sleep mode. You could do this in gta iv as well. If you call anyone, sleep mode turns off.

I always drive in first person view. It feels more natural, and with practice gives much better control of vehicles. Also, it's a much more hilarious view for causing chaos and enjoying a good crash.
-
I vote for atari181 for his extensive and well organized collection.
-
I have always loved Burgertime. I hope I can get a copy.
-
I was just curious about how much it might cost me to fill in the gaps in my collection. Otherwise, I'm not really concerned with values, since I'm not planning on ever getting rid of anything.

I have seen more than a few Xonox and other rare games in the past year go for huge numbers. Are these values average, or do you think CV CIBs are sitting on a slight rise in the popularity/worth curve?
-
The only way to play is with two arcade sticks. Try it some time.

Does anyone else enjoy Smash TV?

If you have problem with your Mario Bros cart, contact coleco_master to get a replacement
I sent him a message on the 14th. He read it, but never responded.

I voted for Lock N Chase due to the exceptional game play and great replay value. I might have considered voting for Mario Bros., but my cartridge only boots up after maybe 25 attempts. Too bad, as I was getting addicted for a while.

It does. Points of interest are color coded. Michael's are blue, Trevor's are orange, and Franklin's are green.
