  1. Hey, thanks for the help. I just assumed (bad habit) they were recent builds knowing it was on backorder, and it recently shipped.

Yeah it still does pattern one, until I press the reset FG button, with V1.3 installed.. Fresh formatted SanDisk. Not a big deal to press reset.. :)

    Thanks!

  2. I've published the very first patch for the FinalGROM 99 that fixes some minor annoyances:

    • When you turn on your console, the FinalGROM 99 blinks with pattern #1 (see troubleshooting section), but works normally when you press the FinalGROM 99 reset button once.
    • The FinalGROM 99 menu shows system or hidden files or folders

To apply the update, please go to the homepage and read section "How to Upgrade the FinalGROM 99" carefully, then download and apply the patch file. For those with issue #1, you'll have to press FG reset once to get going when you see the blinking LED.

In case of questions, please ask before you try!

I have this problem, but I doubt I need the update, as I just received mine from AracadeShopper. Any tips?

  3. A 2x5 IDC connector doesn't fit on a PI's GPIO without a stacking header, which, again makes it too tall for cases that enclose the top of the PI.

I can only recommend at this stage, that if the target is TIPI, the PI case should have open sky over the GPIO. That is generally true of the good and cheap cases.

Yea, I forgot about the sides of the 2x5.

What about something like this, but of course a 2x20 instead of 2x25.

People could even make their own shorten the remainder.

  4. Yep, the chars are echoed properly.

Typing [ATDT74.193.9.234,9640] shows up as [ATDT74.193.9.234,9640] on my screen.

My Console has a Speech Synth, F18, and NanoPEB.... That's it.

That's a good point. If it is echoing back, then we know the terminal is interpreting what the UDS-10 is sending.

  5. Yeah weird that stuart's browser works perfectly..I did switch from D4 to D6 in order to use legacy hayes commands, as it is easy to toggle back to D4, for the browser.

I just get jumbled junk. Does the nano need a lower baud rate? I lowered UDS-10 to 9600. I am wondering if my cable is wrong..

Mine is like the NanoPEB layout.
