  1. The list I gave is just my opinion, and is not in any order, just the order that I was remembering them. Its been about 6 months since I did any eBay selling but that is the best place to get games for the Jaguar and here are the prices I remember Rayman Iron Soldier - under 10$ Attack of the Mutant Penguins - 30-30 Power Drive Rally - 10 - 15 Wolfenstein - 20 Doom - 20 Battlesphere - 150 - 200 Tempest 2000 - under 10$ Defender 2000 - 30 Super Burnout - under 10$ Towers 2 - 50 Protector - 50 Skyhammer - 60 Alien vs Predator - you will see this at the 30 dollar level but it is not rare and can be found for 10 - 15 Ultra Vortek - 15 - 20 Brutal Sports Football (2 Player is fun) - under 10$ Iron Soldier II (Cart) - Never shows up on eBay can be found at Telegames.com CD Games Battlemorph - under 10$ Iron Soldier 2 - 30 - 40 Vid Grid - under 5$ (comes with the CD as a pack in) Primal Rage - 20 - 30 Baldies (IMO) - under 10$

  3. Guys don't hate me but I just got Battlesphere for 100$ from Scatologic in their Battlesphere email auction. I am sorry if I did not announce it here but I knew the auction was obscure and I was going to get the game at a decent price. If I would have hyped the auction I would have lost out. I am sorry guys but that is the reality - I just do not have that much money right now. If you want Battlesphere, the absolute best way to get it is to read Jaguar Interactive II - every couple of months there is an opportunity to get Battlesphere - however this is the first time I have seen a chance to get it for below 150$.
  4. Yes, all the games work with both PAL and NTSC Jaguars. A couple of CD games only work with NTSC though.
  5. Read the Jaguar FAQ http://www.digiserve.com/eescape/showpage....e.phtml?page=a2 and do a search (Edit - Find) on mhz and you will see the speed of 3 of the Jaguars chips.

    Voice Modem

I believe, just like a lot of the Jaguar hardware, that the protocols that the modem uses are severly bugged. If you want to know more about this I suggest you invite Thunderbird from Scatologic to this thread.

    Voice Modem

No, Telegames has neither catboxes or aircars. They are famous for outdated listings like that
  8. I have heard that Cannon Fodder has some bugs in it that can make certain levels unplayable. If there are any level codes you can find to skip to the next level you might want to try them in case your stoppage on level 8 is because of one of these bugs.
  9. An update of Adventure, Superman, and Haunted House.
  10. The games are not slow because of the hardware, they are slow because of the programming. Also, the Jaguar had a couple of critical bugs in its hardware that severly limited what it could do. Programmers had to find ways to program around the hardware bugs which always took more time and more effort than a lot of the programmers were willing to spend.

    Voice Modem

I would have bought one because I had a friend who had a Jag in my city. I could have played games with him without long distance charges. I do not think the voice modem would have ever been a success to the mainstream simply because there were not enough Jaguar's sold. The market share of the Jaguar was just not sufficient for that type of hardware to be a success, in my opinion.

  13. What is a good free program to use to rip it?
  14. Clickable Link http://www.atari.com I don't know - i like the surfing game - kinda a lynx throwback. The new line up sure looks like something Atari might do. Hopefully Infogrames will do a good job with the Atari Label.
  15. Here is an article at Jaguar II Interactive http://www.atarihq.com/interactive/messages/38338.html It would be very interesting to see something like this come out. Apparently the source code exists and at one time High Voltage Software said they would release it. This is a possible new game - though not as finished as Protector it might make a good joint hobby project for someone. The Jaguar needs another Mortal Kombat like fighter - Ultra Vortek is one of my fave games.
  16. Saw this in Jaguar Interactive II http://www.atarihq.com/interactive/messages/38308.html Talks about why development stopped and what would have to be done to finish it.
  17. Check here http://ircalc.usps.gov/weight.asp?Contents=1 Choose United Kingdom as the mail to country and enter the weight of one jag game in the box (I cannot remember off hand) I think about 8 - 10 ounces. Looks like $7.50 to ship Air to Letter Post on 10 ounces.
