  1. Well I have already told you how I do it. I buy collections and sell off what I don't need to make the money back. If the collections have boxes I take them and add to my collection and sell the carts without.

I actually threw away all my boxes at one time, but by using this method I have recovered almost everyone. Having the box only makes it worth more in the eyes of a collector - they add very little to the ebay value a game (due to the higher shipping cost).

  2. Gunstar,

I am really looking for it in the box (for the collection), but, I think I would like to play it a little so I guess you got a deal (I have 3 copies of Kasumi sitting on my shelf)

    Send me an email at

    [email protected]

    and we can trade.

Still looking for BATTLEMORPH (not Battlesphere - I already have that one)

  3. I am having the hardest time finishing off my Jag collection - its not that the games are not available, its just I am low on cash and I have not been able to find them for the right price. I have a couple of extra games here that I would be willing to trade

The games I am looking for are Club Drive and Battlemorph.

What I have to trade -

Kasumi Ninja, Cannon Fodder, Checkered Flag, and Doom - all the above games have boxes and instructions (Kasumi has the headband Tempest 2000 cart only.

  4. No worries - I am not selling my collection or anything - these are games that I have bought in lots and were always meant for sale. I do this all the time and have these kinds of auctions on a regular basis. I will announce them here when I have them. The only thing that makes this auction special is the condition of these games. I bought some collections that were very well taken care of (ie, still in plastic wrap with just the top of it slit to take the games out. Just about everything in this batch is in Excellent condition.

  5. Here is a little tip I picked up from doing the eBay thing. It can help you get the games you want for the price you want to pay.

Use a sniping service. A snipe is to buy something in the last few seconds of the auction preventing non-snipers from competing with you.

What you do - you find an auction you are interested in, determine the maximum you would pay for it, then enter it into the sniping tool. Give it your eBay name and Password, tell it the maximum amount to bid - and you are set like a Jet to get that item at what you want to pay.

Here is the sniping tool - feel free to snipe all my auctions

Hope this tip helps you guys complete your Jag collections!

  6. The average selling price of Battlesphere is around 300-350 dollars US. However, one was just up for Buy it Now of 130 - someone got lucky. I paid around 150 for mine in a huge collection (had to sell almost everything in that collection to get that price).

  7. The Catbox is very rare. Only a very small number were ever made. The person who designed it decided that he would screw the Jaguar community and had like 100 orders for it and never delivered on the last production run. The average selling price for a Catbox on eBay ranges from $200 - $300 US.

  8. You want Jaguar sites - you got them

    http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Console_...tari/Jaguar_64/

I got 78 Atari Jaguar sites for you to peruse at your leisure. It has everything from the Jaguar Modem to the Catbox, plus like 18 - 20 Jaguar game categories in the Titles section.

Jaguar sites are not hard to find at all, simply go to google.com and type atari jaguar, the link I gave you will be the first thing in the list. It is the definitive link list to all things Jaguar

  9. Yeah, no reason to get a 2600 when I can play all the games on the 5200 using the adaptor. What I am trying to do is find a deal out there where I can get new 5200 joysticks so I can enjoy the 5200 games that I have, but cannot play.

  10. Actually, the adaptor has 2 joystick ports built into it so you can use 2600 sticks with the 2600 games. Its a neat little gadget, I have one and its the only way I can play my 2600 games since mine died. The funny thing is that I don't have any 5200 controllers so I can ONLY play 2600 games on the 5200
