  1. Minter should not go dark rather he should find a nice cool little corner of his forums and regroup. I know he is working on Gridrunner right now and hopefully he won't mess it up with putting all that Xeon visual crap over the playfield. Of course I don't have an Xbox 360 and will never get one so I will never be able to play it unless he ports it to PC.
  2. I would just go eBay on that Battlesphere. Maybe SS4U will buy it
  3. Unlike Space Giraffe, Geometry Wars works, you can see what your doing and it's fun from start to finish. Didn't you know that not being able to see what is going on is part of the game? Damn, I guess they forgot to mention that in the instructions.
  4. Wow. Jeff is really acting like a whiney little bitch. I don't get it - I did not think he was like that though I saw hints of it in his response to his bad review. It also sucks that he is not going to write about development anymore. I really liked his writeups on Llamasoft history - I hope those are not included in that.
  5. Yuup, I hear that brother, some games are priced at $85-$100 dollars or more , it seems like you have to have hundreds and hundreds of expendable dollars to build up a decent Jaguar software library. These 10+ year old games are more expensive than xbox/x360/ps2/ps3 games. Even though the games today are incredible, people just really like their Atari Jaguar retro fun and will pay more than new technology prices. The key is to buy big collections that have some of the games you want in it. Turn around and sell the other games you have on eBay to recoup your costs and in most cases you will find that you have gotten the games you kept for free or for a very low price. The fact is that most eBay people except for SS4U have about a hundred bucks to spend and when a large collection is out there for 2 or 3 hundred bucks, the amount of competition drops considerably. I built my whole Jag collection like this and made enough money to pretty much build my collection for free (well alot of my time).
  6. 500 posts unlocks secrets and exclusives. you gotta be a member buddy! At my rate I won't make it until 2050 LOL! Great site still even without the xtra goodies.
  7. Does not have the 3D0 on there either
  8. EBay is your best bet. Just keep watching it and that stuff will go up for auction eventually.

  10. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navc...tary+controller Google is your friend.
  11. What are your first 3? Have you played any of the post Atari released games (World Tour Racing, Iron Soldier 3, Battlesphere)? Sorry to ask you so many questions but do you still have a Jaguar? If I released a game I would keep like 10 copies and a number of backup systems available at all times
  12. It is very cool that you found this thread and I loved Super Burnout. I hope you get that site translated to English someday. I saw that site a long time ago but lost the link. Loved Super Burnout. My friend got a mailer from Atari and had it on pre-order when it first came out. It is very interesting hearing the stories of your experiences with coding the Jaguar. Looking forward to reading more of your posts.
  13. So that is WTR? One of the few Jaguar games I never owned. Does not look bad at all.
  14. There are not many platformers for the Jag, I think Zool 2, Rayman, Buzby, Flashback and Evolution Dino Dudes are the only ones. I think Rayman looks great and plays well, Dino Dudes is good if you like solving puzzles (as in the correct sequence) in your platformers, if you like Sonic then Zool2 will appeal but its not really my thing and Buzby is quite poor. Althought the graphics on Flashback are very 16 bit its not a bad game to play and I think the movement animation of the main character are done quite well. That may be true but in the context or the original post it does not matter as BattleShpere will be too expencive and Gorf was not only produced in limited numbers but Bretthorror did not list a CD unit in the items he (I assume) is getting so he would not be able to play it anyway. Is Dino Dudes like Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 on DS? I'm not much into that... This is what Dino Dudes is like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Humans
  15. Highlander might be the greatest game in the whole world but I was never able to get past the first area. Its not like I dedicated 40 hours or anything to it but I definitely tried more than a few times. So did my friend. It would have been great to get past that Bastard that held me up but unfortunately it never happened.
  16. I would imagine you are sparing us the details of this but more than likely it is not just a Cart vs CD issue and how easy it is copy. Likely Midway also expected 3DSS to actively monitor those copying activities and to go after them which means lawyers and all that BS. Not just releasing the game in a format that is not easily copied rather as a license holder they expect you to protect there IP on that format. That is a huge task to put on anyone and I certainly do not hold it against 3DSS for not wanting to go there. I look forward to whatever plans you guys have in the future and hope one day you can make the release happen. Thanks for trying man. You have definitely taken this above and beyone the call of duty.
  17. Nothing to do now except for change the title to Frog - remove any references to Gorf, and release it for free I can try can't I?
  18. True!..Huh , I was on ebay the other day checkin' out Sega's systems and contemplating buying a Saturn or Genesis with SegaCD or 32x. I would go with a Saturn just for Knights.
  19. The video shows nothing of gameplay. Just a still shot of a girl on the screen and a guy jumping up and down on a dance pad.
  20. I voted Adventure. You could even do Adventure 2000. That would not take years
  21. Cool manual. You totally mapped the game out. Good job.
  22. I am sorry but Club Drive sucked. It ranks right up there next to Double Dragon.
