  1. Got the money order, got the Joystick in the car. Looking for the box to put it in and it is out the door. Thanks for your patience. I will email you when I get pack from the Post Office.

  2. I bought Aircars and another game from you when you were getting rid of your Inventory. It wasn't an online sale rather from a post on JII many moons ago. You sent me a cool token along with the games. I have not been able to list your site in dmoz.org because it lacks enough Jaguar content and really does not qualify for the shopping section but I hate to see you go.

  3. The guy just has a way of pissing people off when he replies. I got flamed out by him many years ago posting on the Jaguar newsgroup but I was a total newbie and after reading the history of the issue I understood why. After that I learned to just skip the flame threads and read the ones where he was dispensing interesting information - which happened from time to time.

The guy gets attacked alot. The guy likes to defend himself. He is probably got a lot of pent up agression and his outlet for release is the Internet message forums. Its Anger Management baby

  4. The bundles with the Jag CD are usually large collections and can be the best deal unless you get into a bidding war. They are rare. You are more likely to see a base unit plus 4-8 games and those are the best deals if you are just trying to fill in the basic titles.

I actually have a Jag CD that is going to be for sale but unfortunately I am going straight to eBay with it (money reasons). I am going to be a nice Atari Communitarian though and offer the rest of my rare stuff here first to the Jaguar loyal. I have already got rid of the rarest of the rare but I still have some gems left.

  5. You can sell your collection and still be interested in the Jag. I half sold mine already. However, when you do go to eBay make sure you sell everything seperate.

You should not give up on the Jaguar or the forum though man. I read every thread here and I never got the impression you weren't wanted.

  6. That type of deal is typical of bundles. People will fork over 250+ for a single copy of Battlesphere, 50+ for Defender 2000, 30+ for AVP, etc, but bundles almost always go for cheaper, unless you get into a bidding war. I think people just don't have the cash to get the bundles. When I was serious collecting I started with a 1000 bucks and bought tons of bundles, took out the games I was looking for, resold everything on eBay and made money and almost had a complete collection. It was alot of work though managing all those auctions and shipping all that crap, plus having to deal with all my little stupid mistakes, but buying bundles and reselling is an excellent way to build your collection or find those rare gems for next to nothing, you just have to do a little work.

  7. I found the best way to get a Jag CD cheap is to go ahead and buy a whole big system lot that includes the CD, Base Unit, and games. Then go back and resell everything except for the CD on Ebay to get your money back. Sometimes you will get the CD for free after this, or even make a couple of bucks.

  8. I am trying to build up the Jaguar categories on dmoz.org with links to FAQs for the different Jaguar games and ran across this page on the justclaws site

    http://justclaws.atari.org/jagsite/jagfaqs.htm

All of the links are 404 - I was wondering if there were html or text versions of these FAQs available because I would really like to index them for the Jaguar section of the dmoz directory. These look like they might be a great resource for New and Old Jaguar enthusiasts and I would hate to see them get lost.

  9. That was a great link on the Jaguar CD stuff. It prompted me to create a whole new category on dmoz.org for the Jaguar CD - see

    http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Console_...ries/Jaguar_CD/

If any of you guys know any more good sites or pages about the Jaguar CD let me know so I can add them to that category. After a while the Google directory will absorb that category and then all the Jaguar CD goodness on the web will be properly presented :)

  10. The Logo looks good but there is something about the colors on the add

that just seem to clash for me. Maybe you should post this at

isualcues.com and let Chile help you on the colors. He is the guy that

osts the nuon-dome forum. He is an art dude and is pretty good at color

coordination. Just trying to be helpful - the way it is now is totally better

than I could ever do, I am in no way trying to downplay your effort - just

trying to help you improve it.
