There was just an eBay auction of about 100 sealed Atari Karts cartridges but I do not think it sold. The sealed ones are probably going to be showing up on eBay more often now. I do not know how much a difference that makes as far as rarity is concerned but seeing that amount on eBay leads me to believe that there will be more available in the future.

Gunstar, Here are the boxes I can do for you Doom Memory Track Jagcd unit box&jaguar base unit box highlander Hoverstrike:UL I have the Primal Rage and AvP boxes but they are still in Plastic so I am going to keep that package together. I doubt you will make it on any of the auctions with that low of a bid but not to worry as we can do a side deal for this stuff - and also the Cannon Fodder guide if you are interested. Those big boxes might make it funky to ship - Personal Message me your address so I can figure out how much Shipping can be. Also, the Jag CD unit box and Jaguar Unit Box are at my storage so I have to find them - give me a couple of days to pull all this stuff together. For anyone else interested I can do boxes for Kasumi Ninja Zool 2 Checkered Flag and I have instructions for White Men Can't Jump Zoop Attack of the Mutant Penguins Dragon the Bruce Lee Story Flip Out Cybermorph

Here is more info on that Cannon Fodder guide Gunstar - the title of the guide is Busted! Cannon Fodder the Definitive Players Guide It is from Amiga Action and it is written by Dave Goodyear and was designed by Sue Ashton. It is 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. It has 40 pages.
-
Gunstar, the guide is not like a strategy book rather it is more like a strategy pamphlet. It is about 4x3'' and has maybe 20 pages at the most. I am posting from home right now and do not have it in front of me but when I get to my office I will post some more details about it. It is more like one of the old Atari 2600 catalogs (a little smaller) than it is like a commercial quality guide book - but it is in excellent condition.
-
Gunstar, Let me know some of the boxes you need and I will see what I can do. Believe it or not you can get pretty much the same for just cartridges and instructions when you sell them - having the box does not really make that much difference and makes it more expensive to ship. Also, if you win that Cannon Fodder auction I will include a Strategy Guide I got with it - it is for the Amiga but it is a pretty cool little collectible item. JagHammer - make me an offer on a Pro Controller - I might sell you one off of eBay as I do not really want to put all three out at the same time. Also - do you guys think 35$ is good for Primal Rage? I think it is a rarer title but I have been offered that straight up for it.

My loss is everyones gain Save some money for next week though, that is when the really neat stuff goes up. Here is a preview Battlesphere (the original) Jamma Joystick (the original from the Goat Store) 3 Pro Controllers Jaguar CD system Memory Track Protector Skyhammer Hyper Force Primal Rage Worms and the list goes on and on.... Pretty much the only thing I am keeping is one Jaguar system, one Pro-Controller and my Battlesphere Gold. Pretty much sucks but as I said - if things turn around I can rebuild it.

I am having some bad financial problems now and I am forced to get rid of most of my Jaguar collection. I put about 35 of my games out on Saturday and will be putting most of the rest out this coming Friday. Here are my current auctions http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?...sort=3&since=-1 One item to note here is that unlike many people who sell on eBay I ship anywhere in the World as long as you pay the shipping. Also, the 2 dollar shipping charge is the game in a brown envelope - since most of the stuff is in real good condition (since it is my personal collection) I suggest Priority Mail because that way you get the Priority Mail Box which is the best protection for Games that have boxes. The absolute best way is to win multiple auctions since I will combine shipping. Also, I am not trying to gouge on shipping and handling here, Shipping prices are actual prices - I am not about to try to make money off of Shipping. Anyway, I hope some of you guys can take advantage of this stuff, I got alot more going this Friday but I will post an update on this thread when I put the rest out. This is one of the saddest times in my life - having to get rid of my prized Jag collection - but I figure if and when times get better I can rebuild it.

5.00 Sent for the overlays - Thanks Carl! The Helper

Its a good game but it is not worth $70 in my opinion. I think it is probably worth between $30 and $50 dollars due to its rarity. Hint for cheaper prices - look on Ebay for Jaguar bundles that contain the game - if you buy the bundles and eBay the games you do not need you can get the games you really want in the bundle for cheap and sometimes even for free. Hint - Hint - if you are selling stuff on eBay never bundle items - you will never get as much as you would if you sold them seperate. I know it is more work to sell stuff seperate but trust me, it is worth it.

This auction has a picture of a Jaguar carrying case http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1379253306 Better hurry and look as the auction ends in about 11 hours and there is no telling how long the seller will keep up the picture after that.

I added the link to the guide at dmoz.org in the Jaguar section so the actual guide and the pages that it links to should be a little more prominent in google searches now. Off topic, I also added a new category for Space War 2000. If anyone wants to look at links to sites about specific Jaguar games check out the following url http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Console_...guar_64/Titles/ and if anyone has some good links to games that are not represented in that category or any other good Jaguar related links please submit them to that category and I will take care of it.

Would anyone be interested in buying the guts of a rotary controller without a case. I have one that is all hooked up and works but just does not have a case. I do not have enough mechanical ability to build one but maybe someone out there would be interested in a homemade project like this. Let me know as I would rather sell it here than on eBay.

I agree with you Thunderbird but I think you finally figured out how to stop that by skewing the scalpers auctions with copies for sale at lower prices. The only way to stop that kind of scalping is to have a bigger supply. The fact that someone was willing to pay 230$ for the game on eBay shows that there is still a significant demand for it - so you should probably make some more my 2 cents.

Battlesphere Gold is worth every cent of the retail price I paid for it. If I wanted to I could probably turn around and sell it on eBay now and make at least 20% profit. That will not happen though because I appreciate the inviso case, the professionally done box, the manual, the gameplay, the 9 program demo, and that it is a quality product. The damn thing is fun as shit to play also. It is the prize of my collection and I just wish I could afford two of them because I know I am killing the resale value of my prized collectors piece playing the shit out of it. Though I will probably never sell it I worry about things like that. The only thing I think is missing from the packaging that I would expect from a 150$ plus game is a keypad overlay. The game uses the keypad and I think that an overlay would have been a great addition. I am really nitpicking here though because I already have an unofficial one - but that one was not really for BSG rather for the original BS.
-
If you are selling the stuff and trying to get as much money as you can it would be wise to sell everything seperate. It is my experience that you lose money packaging anything together especially at auction.
-
There was a guy that used to produce and sell unofficial overlays for a bunch of games that did not have them. Unfortunately, the guy stopped selling them and they are no longer available. I am looking at my collection now and since I got in on the last batch I am pretty sure I have them all. Here is a list of the ones I have Syndicate Iron Soldier 2 World Tour Racing Atari Karts Towers II Skyhammer Worms Air Cars Theme Park Tempest 2000 Zero 5 A Black Jaguar 64-Bit dust cover Battlesphere And 2 for Missle Command 3D: One for Virtual Missle Command and one for 3D Missle Command They are a sweet and it is a damn shame they are no longer available. I tend to look at this bunch of overlays as the pride of my collection next to my Battlesphere Gold. BTW - I notice that I have an extra copy of the Syndicate one and I would consider selling it if the price were right

In my opinion, once you buy a game you can do what the hell you want with it. If you want to try and sell it for a thousand dollars you have every right to and anyone who has anything to say about it is just talking. A game is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it regardless of how much you paid for it originally. Buyers have a choice and in most cases buyers will not buy things for more than they can get it for other places but in the case of the Jaguar and some of the gullible buyers in the market this is sometimes not the case. You should not have to justify yourself for what you sell something for, if the price was too high then it would not have been bought. Apparently someone thought it was worth it.

Umm, the 2 auctions I linked above have nothing to do with the Developers System that is also on eBay. The link to that would be http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1373241738 Here is one for Aircars - Buy it now at 125$ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1372314975 Note - none of these auctions are mine at all - I am not trying to promote them rather I am just trying to point out interesting items currently up auction.

If you need an artist check this out http://www.visualcues.com The guys name is Chile and he is a good friend of mine. He is a budding artist with free time on his hands. You might want to ask him if he would help with you the artwork - he is a helper you know

If eBay catches you emailing bidders about cheaper places to buy stuff they will disable your account. They call it interference.

The new page can be found at http://www.atari-jaguar64.de/ I try to keep all the Jaguar pages updated in Google so if you lose one try searching google for it.

I never saw any Air Cars in the stores. However, you probably know better than I do about how many were made. I am just going on the fact that such a suck games goes for so much and by the availability of it on eBay and sites that sell Jaguar games.
-
I believe in actual numbers existing Air Cars is the rarest of the Jaguar cartridges. It is not surprising it is going for so high on eBay. The game sucks but is always going to be worth more due to its low low numbers.

James Garvin I think from OMC Games is working on finishing Native and here is the latest post in Jaguar Interactive II about what is going on http://www.atarihq.com/interactive/messages/47121.html
