Power Drive Rally Tempest 2K NBA Jam Ultra Vortek Alien vs Predator Battlesphere Gold Wolfenstein Protector and Protector SE Super Burnout I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above titles.
-
It does not have any sound and it is very short. I don't think the powerups work either. However, what is there is very exciting - but there is not much there.
-
OK see it is an American - European thing - since I am American you will always get my Yankee point of view. It took 2 secs to do a google search on Out of This World - and about 30 secs to post the links - its not like a spent an hour or something.
-
I have never heard of it referred to as Another World. PC http://www.pcgameworld.com/cheats/o/ooutof...isworldmain.htm SNES http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/data/9221.html Genesis http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/genesis/data/6615.html The Helper Top Level Games Editor dmoz.org

Yes, the game was called Out of this World I believe.

Aircars is going for the big bucks based solely on its rarity. I believe it is the most rare game for the Jaguar. Of course anyone who has the game knows that it blows goat. I picked up my copy for around $100 last year some time from Zenytax (spelled wrong) when he got rid of all his remaining Jaguar stuff on JII. (I got Aircars and Worms I believe, maybe another one but I cannot remember).

Honestly there is not too much the Space War 2000 demo. I enjoyed what was there but there is not much there at all. I probably got about 15 minutes of gameplay out of it before it went into the vault. I would recommend it to a serious collector but if you are looking for a fun game - I would put the money I would have paid for Space War towards Battlesphere Gold.
-
You know I never did find an adaptor in Battlesphere Gold. I got the 2 discs and the game but I missed that adaptor. I would have never use it but I just thought it was curious that it was not there.

Power Drive Rally is a great game but you should be able to pick it up on eBay for less than 25$ even mint in box.
-
Also, any skills you develop playing NBA Jam will transfer over real nicely to Playstation 2 NBA Live 2002. I played a game of NBA Live 2002 last night against a seasoned veteran of that game and kicked his ass - it was the first time I played that game and the only other real Basketball experience I have is with NBA Jam TE on the Jaguar
-
I remember back in 95 or something there was a store called Venture that carried Lynxs and Jaguar Games - they had a ton of Power Drive Ralley in there.

It's Tempest 2000 and it was not made in the year 2000 rather it was made in the mid 1990's as one of Atari's 2000 line of games Tempest 2000 Breakout 2000 (late telegames release) Space War 2000 (only prototype demo) Battlezone 2000 (changed to Hoverstrike I believe) Tempest 2000 is a righteous game and the Best Tempest for any system (yes, better than 3000 for the NUON, IMHO).

I live in Houston, TX - depending on the type of get together - the number of people attending, what is going to be there, etc - I might attend. I have some stuff I could bring, most all the Jag Games including the new ones (except for IS2 and WTR) but no interesting prototypes or anything like that. Anyone else here in Texas?
-
Its not worth 35 dollars - they are cartridge only games and AvP does not go for big bucks unless it is complete or at least has the overlays.
-
I have one of those that I still need to test but if it works I will be selling it pretty soon also. This one might not be as good as the others as all the wires are exposed - it does not have a casing - basically its a Jag controller taken apart with a 2600 driving controller hooked up to it.
-
I hear a lot of the demos are coming off the Demo CD such as Durantik, and the Sinistar stuff. You might want to verify exactly what you get on the demo CD as some people on JII were saying they did not want there games released on that demo, they wanted to release the demos themselves.

Whether or not the price drops on eBay on regular Battlesphere will be directly related to the availability of Battlesphere Gold. If the same thing happens to Gold as to Battlesphere probably both of them will be high priced again - but I imagine regular Battlesphere will not be sold for higher than you get the Gold edition for. However, there will always be completest collectors out there that will need both for there collections and you know what they say - Stuff is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
-
Yeah, I still have a copy of the regular Battlesphere in my collection that I will not sell regardless of acquiring the Gold Edition. The good thing is that you can network the old and the new versions together also so having one of each is not a total loss.
-
Yeah I just ordered mine. I wonder how limited it is and whether or not Scatologic has to give all its profits to charity still. I hope they don't have to give the profits to charity as I would like to see them make some money off this bad ass game.
-
Actually you did pretty well considering it came with a power supply. One of the Jaguar retailers who sells on eBay regularly sells core units (just the system without power supply) for 10 bucks.

I bet my email is messing up - I have been expecting a bunch of stuff but have not gotten it. I will try to email you again.

Check here for some Minter links http://dmoz.org/Games/Developers_and_Publi...es/L/Llamasoft/ but probably the best tribute page is here http://www.llamasoftarchive.com/ Hope this helps

hey d8thstar if you are serious about that offer give me an email.

I agree also! I just last night plugged my Jag up with the S-Video cable and tried out Space War 2000 and Club Drive (what a stinker). The difference in picture quality over RF is very noticeable. Now if I could just find some RGB connectors I could plug it into my grandmothers TV which has RGB plugs. I hear that is the absolute best connection you can get.

BattleSphere currently cheap on ebay...but for how long
The Helper replied to JagMX's topic in Atari Jaguar
That might be true but the silent auctions are the cheapest way to get Battlesphere right now. The past is the past - we can't travel back in time and get first run prices anymore.
