  1. I closed my SI show with the Pretenders track. It has sounds from the arcade version in the fade. I suggested Captain Geech on FB, Sean.
  2. Sword of Saros, this week on the Atari 2600 Game by Game Podcast. http://traffic.libsyn.com/2600gamebygamepodcast/127_Part_2_-_Sword_of_Saros_by_Starpath.mp3

I like that game but haven't played it in years!! BITD I bought it and Survival Island by mail order from Starpath...

I fondly remember playing that game one night when I first got it and I stayed in because I felt like I was getting sick with a cold. I skipped out on my Tae Kwon Do class and that changed my ranking in the class from 5th to 36th (But I fought my way back up). Anyway I stayed home in my bathrobe playing Sword of Saros...

      Me and you GoldLeader! :)

  3. There's 5 mini-comics that are packed in with Atari games that are loosely based on the games (EXTREMELY loosely in some cases), and they are not related to the 20 issue run aside from characters, if memory serves. That run is a great read in my opinion, I don't think they're too expensive to pick up on eBay. They are supposed to be reprinted, but it's been a long time since that was announced, so who knows.
  4. Also, I forgot. Shark Attack (or Lochjaw) is a 2600 maze game where you collect stuff and deposit said stuff in a central location. There are two variations, one stuff at a time (I think it's diamonds but I don't recall), or you can hold a bunch at once, but it takes longer to deposit. Watch out for sharks!
  5. I was waiting and waiting for a clip from "Green Shirt." Another great episode guys, thank you for doing them.
  6. I really should only listen to gaming podcasts when I am home and all my systems are set up.
  7. Also, a great farewell episode by Retro Game Squad. It made me think of how much of a blubbering mess I'm going to be in my last episode. But that's at least a decade away yet, so no worries.
  8. True story: I played in a band once with the Gorf Jaguar author.
  9. Oh yes, I burned my mouth on Frank n Stuffs plenty of times.
  10. While we're at it, Part 1 of episode 126 is available and features Battlezone by Atari. http://traffic.libsyn.com/2600gamebygamepodcast/126_Part_1_-_Battlezone_by_Atari.mp3
  11. Battlezone, this week on the Atari 2600 Game by Game podcast. Part 1 of episode 126 is about Battlezone. Part 2 featuring Krull and the feedback for both games will follow along shortly. Thanks so much once again for your patience and for listening! http://traffic.libsyn.com/2600gamebygamepodcast/126_Part_1_-_Battlezone_by_Atari.mp3

  12. I don't, I just have a donation button on my blog page. Patreon implies exclusive content to me, and I would rather not do that. I have a hard enough time getting regular episodes out!
  13. Thank you so much for the kind words. I have been on a semi-hiatus this summer but I hope to get back to regular shows every two weeks very soon. Thanks for listening.
  14. 10 days is too long. Check out Retro Game Squad while you still can: http://www.retrogamesquad.com/ I mentioned in this thread that I stopped listening because they never went beyond the NES. But now I can listen at 1.5 speed! Bwahahahahaha! I probably will skip the imports show though, I don't have much interest in those.
  15. I have more experiences where I talkED for a half hour or so then realize I didn't press the FUCKING RECORD BUTTON
  16. I agree, I love all the podcasts that Willie does and I like his style as well. Like Rick said, when his podcasts show up in the feed, they go right to the front (sorry Marc Maron ). I like listening to people who have a passion for games talk about them, and Willie has that in spades. I feel bad that he was compared to me, we are two different people and we each do things differently. If you want a 5200 podcast in my style, go and do it. It's not so easy when you're the one actually creating it. I think we all as podcasters do the best we can and that's really all we can do. If you like it, terrific! If not, that's okay too. Just move along or create your own. That's one of the reasons I started mine, my era was not well represented in podcasts. Podcasts are, for the most part, free. We do it because we like it. We have to be happy with it, so we do it the way we want. If you have constructive criticism, we will listen. We may not implement it, because that is our prerogative. This is supposed to be a fun hobby talking about our other fun hobbies, so let's try and keep it that way. To Willie: I love talking with you and Rick and Paul on Intarivisions. I don't care about the following, and I think you're wrong about that anyway. I just like talking with you guys about games every month, so I hope you will stay.
  17. I had to look up what creepy pasta meant. It's fun! I like the end part, kinda comes out of left field.

  20. My BIL told me just this past weekend that a friend of his in HS did the door hinge trick to one of their teachers, now I wonder if that guy had the same book. I have no doubt that my BIL and Rob would have gotten along famously if they knew each other back then.
