  1. The scalpers have been getting trigger happy over this kind of stuff over the year. I was close to buying Wario World - but it's 85 on eBay. Nope.
  2. The wires snapped off. Dragoncity said that they'd refund me if I return the fan, but if I do that then I won't have one. Also I no longer live in DFW, I need to update that.
  3. The controller port works fine, but the fan connector does not. I have tried replacing the fan with one from Dragon City and that didn't work either. Can anyone repair the board for me and fix the wires on the PCB that came with this fan?
  4. While I was replacing the fuse and capacitor on the controller port board, the fan stopped working. I tried plugging it back in and other ideas, but eventually unplugging it caused the fan header to detach from the fan's wires. Does anyone know of anyone who can replace the fan (it's the one that has the heatsink underneath the motherboard) or could even mod the system to use one of those noctura fans?
  5. Can anyone do a mod for my SNES to where the power port uses a connector like in the picture? I'd like for it to use the same adapter as the SNES AC adapter. If you can do other mods that might be useful let me know.
  6. Can anyone around here fix my Sega CD model 2? It keeps telling me to initialize the ram, and I left it running for four hours once. It's a telltale sign that the internal battery inside the Sega CD had gone bad, and I was wondering if anyone can fix it. Also the fuse hasn't gone out on my sega CD model 2 but I think's going to one of these days, so can anyone replace it? Lastly I am having problems with my dreamcast always needing the clock changed. I'll need the battery inside the console replaced on that one too. And maybe the fuse, although I've unplugged and plugged in controllers so many times while it was turned on. I'm worried that would be a problem and was hoping that if the fuse was replaced that problem would never come to reality for me. I will pay for shipping, and I'm not sure what the charges are for the repairs.
  7. Those are for bitbox cases. I can ask them if they have them in size for Sega Genesis normal cases.
  8. I printed out some inserts for some of my genesis games (vectorman 1/2, ristar, sega cd backup ram, and xmen 2 clone wars) but it looks washed out. Is there anywhere on eBay or somewhere else on the internet where I can get inserts that fit the Genesis cases?
  9. Manager forced me to give my boss's number because he claimed I was being "disrespectful" toward customers. Since when does "I don't work here" become disrespectful you POS? Seriously next manager to call me out on that's going to get a lawsuit.

Customers will complain to him, even if you're only a contractor.

Don't know why you're posting it here, If it's just to vent, yeah, customers can suck sometimes. If it's for help, there's probably a lesson in human relations buried here somewhere, assuming your employer knows your strengths and limitations and is willing to work with you.

      weird flex, but ok.

  10. Does anyone have any Genesis cases with the game's manuals included? Artwork/Manuals should be in great/excellent condition or better and no damage inside. Hang tabs are not necessary. Genesis games I need to be cased up: Air Diver BattleTech Bio Hazard Battle Chakan Columns III DecapAttack Desert Demolition Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine Dynamite Headdy ESWAT: City Under Siege Forgotten Worlds Gauntlet IV Golden Axe Jewel Master The Jungle Book Jungle Strike Mercs Pac-Attack Powerball Rocket Knight Adventures Shadow Dancer Shinobi III Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic Spinball Space Harrier II Space Invaders 91 Sub-Terrania Super Hang On Super Monaco GP Twin Cobra Toy Story World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse Wounder Boy in Monster World Sega Master System: Black Belt (Case and Manual) Ghostbusters (Manual) Monopoly (Case and Manual) Penguin Land (Manual) Rastan (Manual) Shinobi (Manual)
  11. I need some jobs done with my AGS-101 Game Boy Advance SP: 1. The charging port (The rectangle port next to the link cable port) doesn't charge all the way and it's very finicky. Could be a bad ac adapter, I'll try a new one out maybe. Either case I'd like someone to take a look at the port to make sure it's not damaged. I'll get a new battery too for it. 2. The volume slider is almost unusable. I have tried cleaning the little slot out but it looks like it's going to need a new volume control module or whatever that thing is. 3. A check of the capacitors just to be safe.
  12. Found one for 70$ plus 50$ shipping but it's going to have to do. I didn't want to take the risk of purchasing a different pentium system with questionable handling.
  13. Does anyone here have a older beige ATX case? I saw some on eBay though theyre very expensive. Needs to have 4 5.25 external bays 2 3.5 external bays 2 3.5 internal bays No damage to case

    Dr. No

I agree - my cholesterol levels were perfectly fine last time and blood sugar was around 80-85. No need for another blood test.
  15. I might as well just ignore it - happens a lot of people trying to clean their systems. If my Saturn ever breaks down I'll have someone fix the screw post and make it to where it won't snap apart just by pulling, because the other sides I can't do that.
  16. If I do this, will it still be able to break apart if I pull on both halves of the Saturn's housing?
  17. I have a Sega Saturn with a damaged screw post. I was trying to see if the insides needed cleaning but when I opened it, one of the screw posts had the top of it snapped off! Basically what happens is even if I use super glue on the post and put the broken part back on it still can break off if I pull on the Sega Saturn's halves after it's screwed in. What else can I do? Can I have someone replace the housing on the Sega Saturn or something?

They only moved it up to celebrate the 65th anniversary of it being this close in 1953

      More like doomsday crock... amirite?

Did anyone else see this update and begin singing the Misfit's song, "Don't Open Til Doomsday! Destruction's not far away!" ? ...I kinda figured it was just me :)

  19. Found one! It's a gateway pro v933. Got a different hard drive put in and installing windows 98 now!
  20. PM sent - I have a question on the power supply though, how much is too much for a Windows 98 PC?
  21. I'm trying that too but I can't find very many places where someone would sell that. Sorry but I'm just having a lot of trouble doing so.
  22. I have a lot of trouble finding XP PCs - most of the thrift stores where I am don't even have ONE.
  23. I can't seem to find a Windows 98 SE PC around these parts anymore. Anyone got one? List of specs that I would like the system to have: Intel Pentium 3 512 RAM 60-100 GB Hard Drive 3.5 Floppy Drive DVD Drive USB Ports Sound Card that works with 98 SE CPU Slowdown Control
  24. I almost got a manager at a cinemark to kick this jerk out of a theater because she wouldn't stop f*cking coughing all the time.

    1. save2600

I happened to have cough drops on me one time at a theater when a woman wouldn't stop coughing. I got up, handed her one and that was the end of that. :-)

    2. TheTIGuy

      Most people can't help coughing.

He shouldn't be at the movies if he was sick, but...
