Yep it allows you to run homebrew and backups tools for the system and such media launcher is like a boot disk to run backups basicly.Turn the system on at the menu sawp disk with the said back up.Hope this helps anymore questions just ask.Oh ya its also a code device has all codes and cheats on the launcher aswell.^^

It will work bro im sure of it i had to do the same for mine because my kids got up on my work bench and scattered all the screws had a DC next to the Jag when i was modding my DC i noticed the screws were simular in size i tried it and ding ding ding perfect fit hope this helps.

So after alot of searching and asking around i have been looking to buy a new game for the Jaguar that i have never played.After allot of thought given i finally gave up on buying Skyhammer and Hyper Force only because of all the bugs and games not being totaly complete.Just didnt want to pay the price for something that would end up dissappointing me so i went on a search of Jag commercial games and found 2 and purchased them at a fair decent price i might add.I purchased Ruiner Pinball and Pinball Fantasies i read fair reviews on these two games while not showing greatness they did shoot fair on the reviews.So first thing to all who is wondering yes i like pinball,the question here is what are the pro's and con's of each game did i purchase monumental let downs or should these games prove to be ok for someone who likes pinball.Just looking to hear some of the communities feedback on these two games thx allot^^.Also i got Tempest 2k Im sure that will not be a let down as i own the Saturn version and it roX.So if it is better then the Saturn version i cant wait

The screws that hold the jaguarCD unit together?If you have a spare dreamcast lieing around take the screws from the dreamcast casing and use those same screws i used when remounting my laser unit and lost the screws same size ^^.

Hey thx for all the pro's and con's of this game i think i will pass on buying this one i just cant see spending $80 on a game with this many bugs in it.In the event that the price is ever lessoned i will probably pick it up but i see on ebay they go for nearly the same price used.Was just looking for a good title to pick up for myself at xmas maybe i will keep the search on total carnage and hyper force i will look further into but again i have no knowledge of those games i think total carnage is a port correct?Whats the deal with hyper force any good?

Thx ^^ I plan to raise the par abit and add Tempest 2000 and thinking about Skyhammer!But i have mixed feeling on skyhammer heard it looks good it sounds good but literally plays like shit i have even asked if the ending could be reached on that game do to all the bug reports i read about it and every answer i get is i dont know lol..So i want to Buy it because i like that genre of game i also like how it actualy implements some of the Jaguars raw power specially seeing that game on a 6mb cart i thought to myself wow amazing.But the whole $80 just is allot for my taste for a game with so many bugs.I did however pay that price for such games as Towers 2 and Atari Karts but just mixed feelings on the Skyhammer game.I mean visually that game just looks fantastic.

I thought FFL was alright for its day.ReddMcKnight i think beating the game on the higher difficulty level gives you the different scenario endings.Its been years since ive beaten it but i remember three different endings.Im actualy trying to get a hold of a copy of that game now miss it ^^.

Sadly D2K is one of the titles i have yet to try.Been looking to get it though i have read so many mixed things on it that i never made it a must have.But after reading this post i think i will pick it up and try it never tryed the protector either is that game just basicly a clone of the defender game?

Ive got few of the ports for Doom Saturn,PSX,3DO,Jag never played 32x version but as i read the forum posts i assume im not missing much.I have to say the worst out of the bunch was the Saturn port the best i thought was the Jag.I could tell the diffrence,s almost immediatly.I did however hate the fact you lost all weapons when you would come back to play the next day.I didnt mind them takeing out the bosses because i liked how the challenging lvl 23 was for the jag nice stage for a nice ending ^^.I have to say the next best port i thought was for the 3D0 lol try playing it right after you play the jag version and you can tell how great the jag port truley is thats how i did it.You can feel and see the slowdown so it really made me appreciate the jag port alot more.
