  1. I wish more people had those thoughts when acquiring music, as I do!

  4. First you take your bacon and line the muffin tray, then....
  5. Just be careful, the XF551 has the worst PCB of any Item I have had the pleasure of working on. The traces are only on one side and they pull off real easy. Do not use anything over a 30 amp and I would recommend a 15.
  6. That is why I write shipping included in the comments section.
  7. Just made a deal with William, now at 122/125. Still Need: Congo Bongo Learning Fun I Learning Fun II
  8. A drag and drop device could be as simple as a Micro SDHC in a card reader for the pc. Formatted FAT 16. Drag and drop onto the Micro SDHC and the plug it into the new Intellivision Multi-cart device. The Multi-cart Device would have to be able read a FAT 16 SD and display the file name for the game in the menu. The engineers over on the Atari 8-bit forums have accomplished this sort of thing for the Atari computers, I imagine something very similar can be done for the intellivision.
  9. I have not made a trade list yet, but now that I am on the last leg for collecting the 125, I'll have more time to put one together instead of all time spent looking for CIBs. I'll try to get one together over the next week. I only collect for Intellivision. If I find that trading the Super Cobras are not going to happen I will put them up for sale on ebay, but do not look for them on there soon!
  10. I agree. Iguess I worded it wrong, Changed it.
  11. 120/125!!! I just aquired Tutankham from England, shipping soon. In addition all of my titles are now CIB! In that same deal I am also receiving (2) Super Cobra's CIB that am willing to use to barter for the following titles: Remaining titles: Congo Bongo - CIB Fathom - CIB Learning Fun I - CIB Learning Fun II - CIB Triple Challenge - CIB
  12. Rev can you PM your Address, I can send 4 or 5.
  13. I guess that includes me. I am trying to work out a deal with a seller in another country to get to 125.
  14. I have to agree with you. The spine is what is displayed. Since I do not collect variants, I have also changed out a bottom opening box for a gatefold that was in worse condition as I would like to have as many gatefolds as possible. So all the variant collectors!!! If you have extra gatefolds and need the bottom opening variation, we might be able to make some trades.
  15. I can see that. I can keep going by checking out what everyone else is collecting and offering help where ever needed. I belong to several music forums where my knowledge comes in handy [my intv knowledge is no where near, but can be]. I suspect the same here.
  16. I 'see' you Cmart. I do have discipline. I have collected music for decades and I can say that I have a discipline that most do not. For instance: Song Collection - I collect every song by an artist that I am interested in. I do not need the demo, live version or re-recording of that song, just the original studio recording. I also do not need every single CD, LP, 45 RPM record or cassette that the artist has produced, just enough to get that song. Now some Caveats, The song has to be on an original recording of the artist, greatest hits does not do it in most cases [some where the greatest hits are the only songs I like from an artist is OK [Doobie Brothers], or if the song is unique to a greatest hits is fine, Heaven and Hell - The Dio Years]. When an album first comes out, I usually wait for a couple of months after release to see if a Japan, Europe, Australian, or Special issue later comes out with a Non US LP Track included and I will buy that version [Japan and sometimes Australian costing twice as much]. If not, and there is a non-lp track out there, I will buy a single CD for $10 to get the song. Downloading the song is not an option. I like to hold the music in my hands and read the liner notes from the CD. So, applying this to Intellivision, I do not play emulators, period [although an emulator got me back into collecting, since, no]. Every game I buy will be played on an Intellivision machine for my high scores. I will not purposely buy sealed versions of any game, unless they come with a bundle and then I had better have another to place along side to play with on my machine. Now, that one does not have to be CIB, but would be nice. As far as homebrews, I am torn. I have purchased some new homebrews that are sealed and I have yet to break those seals. I want to play them, but I do not want to break the seals [which is why I do not buy the 125 this way]. I guess I will have to find a rom for them and play them emulated or pay for a CC3 and play them [anyone got the engineering capabilities to make more of these?]. Sorry for being long winded, but at least you now 'see me'.
  17. I lucked out on three buys from the guy selling all the premium titles. I got Jetson's for $130, Turbo for abt $160, and Melody Blaster for abt $160. Other peeps have suggested that I did well on these three titles. Congo and the 2 Learnings were on my scope, but I let them go to get these, Which I believe to be a fairly good tactic to get some lesser rares at a better price for now. I'll try for the others later.
