I have purchased the rom to go along with my cart copy. Thanks. Great idea.

Ah wicked, the good news if you just bought a colecovision is you have over 120 original games to go through before you need to even think about homebrews or SGM.

Thanks for some feedback. I am determined to finish the project.
There won't be much room for many additions as I'm up around 26kb now out of 32kb but definitely a lot of refinement to the existing games.
The tanks were a great suggestion, I was originally just doing biplanes but that has added a real nice variety. It fit my existing engine pretty good only need a week or so to make the different physics work. I like the idea of an additional level/variety with soldiers. I may not have enough room though.
I'm going to finish up the 2 variations as they are and 1 additional option to have biplanes with no gravity or ground. My daughter found it too difficult and crashed constantly so basically a beginner version. I like the gravity and ground because they do make it difficult to fly and fight at the same time. She had no trouble with the tanks control though. Actually kicked my ass!.
So yeah there is gravity so it makes flying a bit more realistic than say looping where you move at a constant speed even if going up or down. similar to triple action on intellivision where you can stall and fall backwards to the ground.

Yeah I guess human vs computer will be necessary. Hard 2 always rope someone into playing on a classic system but the main focus is on just that getting 2 people playing on the same screen at the same time.
Plans included
-A.I.
-Destructive environment to some degree
-solid buildings so you have some cover for hunting each other
-randomize the layout of the levels
-proper death counters
-more sound
-2nd biplane style with no ground or gravity
The reason I am posting is for some suggestions within reason.

Here is a preview of a game I am working on for colecovision. Still a Work in progress.

Well, I did see Evil Dead 2 first...
Turned out to be the same movie as evil dead but with higher production values when I eventually seen the first.
A Ghost n Zombies sequel .....
Is like watching the second movie of a serie without having watch the first one, while you know the first one was good
Why don't you release the rom then if you're not going to let another batch happen?-

I don't think its un reasonable to ask. Ultimately if he doesn't make any more he doesn't make any more.
I would certainly be interested.

that's a good point, I would suggest that all future sgm games also be adam compatible by default then additonal sound & sgm compatible. gives you an option if you have an adam & no sgm.

Rogue or the much better "LARN"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larn_(video_game)
used to literally overwrite the levels to disk as you left a level and went up or down. You could reset all levels at the start of the game then the original data files would be overwritten whenever you saved the game
-
I voted for all 3. As an owner of the SGM It would be irresponsible of me not to buy at least 1 copy of each & every Super Game Module Game that came out. So Obviously I would also buy Opcodes Super Donkey Kong as well. I look forward to it when it becomes available.
I wish I could afford every homebrew that comes out but I would defiantly be in for these.

hit reset on the Atari module to start the game
You can use the coleco controlers but you have to actually plug them into the Atari expansion unit
-
I re-read all Eduardo's posts in the main SGM thread and 2nd run thread. One thing that concerned me is that the mold is not owned by Eduardo. If he doesn't order more cases by about the middle of the year (or perhaps beg or pay a fee), then the mold could be repurposed by the manufacturer. On about Dec. 10, 2012 he received 260 cases. I doubt he ordered more for the second run (although I could be wrong).
Does the Super Game Module have any proprietary programming or all the components, other than the pcb, stock chips?
-
Ah I was going to tell you to do that. Need a controller. I would also put 1 original game. I know it's modded but not everyone is as capable. This way they can plug & play even if they have no other parts.
-
This is not the same thing. I have a nice new "Flora & the Ghost mirror game & box" that I received in November. I am also confident of receiving the Strip Poker cartridge. It's also documented why he has been away.
-
I may make a horse racing game. I would most likely do my own interpretation though. I am a fan and play the intellivision version still. Was playing it this week. After I finish my current project first though.

I know ... I was being coy. Combat is a classic. My game engine for biplane would work perfectly for this. And I still have about 12kb with nothing in there So I will look into adding tanks as well as the biplanes.

Isn't replicant from "Blade Runner" . Now I don't want any replicants. They ain't very nice.

I mean a star trek replicator. Earl Grey... Hot!
I totally support homebrewers. I have over 45 Colecovision original homebrews. I'm a collector to some degree but I really do play the games. Just want a chance to play the game on my favourite console
You mean a bootlegger, copier, pirate, scum-bag, all around bad seed who doesn't care who he hurts. We got one of those already in South America who already made bootlegs of G n Z and probably others.

Ughh. It's torture watching these auctions. I can't afford it but I want a copy. We need a replicator.

I literally was just playing intellivision horse racing with my daughter for an hour this evening so any news on a colecovision version is great.

What about "the Void Centauri Conflict" .

Umm.. yeah, $95 is a good chunk of change and really don't get your parking ticket analogy but okay?
My point is you could blow $95 easily on a movie & burgers or something and have nothing to show for it.
The fact that over 100 possibly 200 have been shipped proves he will deliver... eventually.

Ebay Rant - Don't ship Tutankham and Super Cobra to Brazil

They definitely don't repackage every package or even the majority. My packages have arrived in the same packaging I sent them out in. Buyer even complimented the good packaging job. It's probably only if the package was inspected they don't bother to use the same packaging so any old box will do and screw the bubble wrap.
I've been burned shipped to the UK. My solution has been to ship everything, even a stick of gum , with a tracking # & insurance. That way I am paid no matter if the buyer claims it disappeared or not.
This makes usa & Canada the only real viable customers due to the ridiculous diffence in price of shipping with a tracking number to france or Britain.
I have no problem shipping to the USA since I learned to protect myself.
