I always thought that it might be a great idea to expand the colecovision support base by having a colecovision sold with a killer app. A game you can't get on any other system and bundle it with a basic colecovision system. Just a thought. Of course I have 8 Colecovisions sitting on my shelf. & a dina 2 in 1, and 2 adams

I have 1 SGM. I will be keeping it. It's irreplaceable. I was lucky enough to order it and I'm glad to have it plus all 5 release SGM games. I hope to get some more games that use it as well. I'm concerned to hear that the first run may have cost more to produce than it took in. I don't want to see people jumping ship so soon. There are at least 2 scheduled releases for the module coming out this year. 1 And possibly more that haven't been announced for next year. I have xbox 360 Halo, Battlefield etc. They're fun too. But they don't do simple well. They don't do classic gaming well. When you have unlimited memory & colours and sound , sometimes it just ends up with a mess. Look at any "Classic Games" remakes on xbox live. Just terrible. I want to play frenzy or burgertime I turn on the coleco. I realize I am contradicting myself. But it's really only a memory upgrade and 3 sound channels.

I once met the original game designer for boulderdash. We had a tour of his studio. He boughts us pizza. Great game too. I have/Had the Colecovision version. I still have the case but I may have loaned the cart and never got it back. I still have the case at least. I will order 2 copies when it is available

Having made several different styles of boxes including gatefold. The gatefold style offers central anti crushing support. Also with the roll over for the gatefold there are in effect 3 layers of point board on one side of the box. Box doesn't crush it doesn't rip. Better design than most other boxes.

I mentioned this possibility months ago on an adam chat. I seen the same technique done with a tandy 1000. Which has similar specs, 16 colours 320 x 200 res and using 2 images flipping back and forth to mix the colours. He came up with an 84 colour pallete I believe. Look real good. I though this might work as well here and a coleco. I was curious if the flipping between 2 images would be fast enough to fool the eye on a colecovision.
