I could not sell it in good conscience. It doesn't work unfortunately. I have considered opening it and replacing the prom chip with a reburned eprom but I don't want to ruin the label.

is this the cart you are describing?

I have Alcazar in the original vac formed case. I bought it in the 80's along with Spy Hunter, & Boulderdash via mail order from telegames. Apparently I had good taste. Alcazar was really amazing for the time. Comparable to a lot of computer games. No I'm not selling. Just saying it's definately one of the better coleco games and cases.

How many of you would still like to have this game for CV?
digress replied to retroillucid's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
If you make monkey island on colecovision you will have no problem selling all the copies made. And if not I'll buy all the left over copies personally. Monkey island is really about the music and I wonder about being able to make a soundtrack comparable to a pc with and adlib card or an amiga though. The amount of data required to would be several megs for all the graphics and animations. I'm all in though. -
ColecoVision 1.2 - replacement PCB, added features
digress replied to 5-11under's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
I'll definately order a Coleco 1.2 replacment pcb or maybe more than 1 depending on final cost. I have a couple of flaky coleco's that could use a new board. My 1 suggestion would be to have some of the major chips use a socket rather than solder mounted direct to the board for ease of replacment if a problem occurs in the future. You can add me to any list of purchasers. -
Yes, Indirectly. Advance wars is a clone of Military Madness/ Nectaris on TG16. So its based on military Madness for TG16 more directly

Here is something I've been working on casually.

I agree , I played the strip poker on the adam a few weeks back and was thinking that a nicer version was possible. I'm only too glad to purchase 2 copies

Yeah, the package art was completed simultaneously to the game development. They didn't have final screen shots only mockups based on the resolution and colours. Donkey kong & zaxxon are close enough. Skiing... well I would have been pretty disapointed with that but was that even release by the same company? I think the skiing shot shown is by a third party later on and the coleco image is vaporware. I've always been disappoint that the rip cord, tunnels & trolls, & mr. turtle games were not released.

Tales from ELEKTRONITE Labs: Ms Pac Man & Galaga
digress replied to vprette's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Original Concepts require no Negotiation of rights. ... Simply making a new game. Nintendo, Namco, Disney etc. will never let you do this. Either do it underground and don't leave anything linking you too it or Do an original concept -
I would buy a colecovision strip poker game. It would be best to use a megacart version so there could be mulitiple opponents. A general casino game would also be a good idea. video poker, jokers wild, blackjack, routlette and even a few slot machines or something with a common pot the player can use on all machines

I played the strip poker game last night and she's really bad at cards.

rocky was the first coleco game I bought. I had it for 3 months before I had a coleco to play it on. I stared at the box a re read the manual. never did find any easter eggs in the game though though the manual suggested there was. maybe that part was disappointing. I loved the game though and yeah it'd been nice to have more opponents to choose from but overall I was quite pleased with the game and graphics. I can beat any level even without the superaction stick and no blocking.

Hi, No I got it off ebay. I had to build a new power supply for it too. Quite pleased with myself if I do say so. Now I want to test it out some more. I only just became aware of the sg-1000 and it's near compatibility with colecovision a few months ago and now I want to have a few sg-1000 games too.
