Quite a few i like and some are the uncommon titles, but I liked the 5200 version of Vanguard.
-
My 5200 colletion grew pretty much over night, I got 35 games (loose) in one lot via local trade, I did not have any systems to play these on then out of the blue I got 3 of them BAM! two 4 ports and one 2 port (not working). I now have over 40 games including Montezuma's Revenge, H.E.R.O. and Star Wars Arcade.
I would love to be able to play these games instead of just demo'ing them as ALL 6 of my controllers are messed up in one form or another. I really want to dive into MZR and Pitfall II!

PM sent, I also checked your GTZ wanted list. I have a few of your Genesis wants.

If the game had POKEY for the music/SFX it would have been the best console port besides the Lynx version. NES just looked washed out but it had most of the key elements.
I loved this game in the arcades I used to dump quarters in it like WOAH!
You did good, this game is great!

Would love to find an Atlantis II but chances of that are slim to none.
Never know though!

Too late to get in on a cart only?

There are at least two versions of the night scene label. I have only seen pictures of Atlantis II with one of those variations.
To answer the question, I have three copies of Atlantis. There is a day label and one each of the night labels. I plan to convert the day label one to Atlantis II one day. The day label will make it obvious it's a repro while still retaining the classy Imagic look.
Similarly, I own only two copies of Spacechase. I'm not going to spend anywhere from $2 to $5 a pop just to find out I've picked up the common variant AGAIN. That's what a portable VCS is for.
I got most of these at a buck each, couple of them were .50 and one was free. lol this is like the SMB/DH for the 2600 for me anyway.
Also as far as photo variants go, there is 2 of them that have a bright radiant explosion with the star on the left, the others are not so bright and vibrant no star on the left (maybe these were made with a lesser quality printer?)

I just pick these up when I am out an about, I got 5 in one place all night time scene carts, chances of finding one is slim to none but hey, atleast I can say I tried

I figured if an Atari Repro guy needed a ton of iMagic shells for a project I got em!
-
Atlantis, in your quest trying to find the "one" Atlantis II copy. So has it been 100% confirmed that the Atlantis II carts wer the night time scene only?
Here is my stack, I have another 4 or 5 in another box. Just cannot seem to pass up on a copy and think to myself... Could that one been it?
Anyway, I was killing some time so I thought I would share.

Thanks Wood_jl, I made an offer on tue 2.5, he accepted so I got that one.
Thanks for the tip!

Scroll down to the bottom. 7 Euro for a much smarter power supply. I only use this and have stored the originals PSUs deep in my cellar.
If only this was state side, I think after shipping this would cost quite a bit. Any US equivilant?

Hey all,
I found an Atari 800xl in the wild in pretty good condition. It is missing the AC Power supply.
Anyone have a spare they would like to part with?
-
Damn, I knew there was a reason!
I will have 3 here soon, My office is already taken over by games/systems!
And yes I will 'pull' the chips and reseat them and try that too, not that is a super huge deal right now as all I have is 5 cart games to play and the only one that really utilizes the KB is Star Raiders.
I need more carts! Time to go out and hunt!
-
No, you are going to need more ram for the 400. Even the atarimax flash carts require 48k
Understood, Might as well find a xl/xe
easy enough I think /i know were a 1200xl is collecting dust! -
Question, New to the Atari 8bit world.
With this device you can play "backups" of the 400/800 carts kind of like a multicart. With that said what about disc images or tape images?
So with a stock 400 with 16k this device will play all the games up till they need more ram correct?

Small update for those who might be following. I got my "parts" 400 today in the mail and wouldn't you know it the thing fired right up. The keyboard on the other hand does not function correctly the 4 far right system buttons work and the break key works none of tue others work at all.
So i pulled that one out and put in the other from my main machine and the same issue. Could this be a pokey adjustment?
Oh and holy shit the 400/800 version of space invaders is brutal right off the bat!

Voltage appears to be with in spec, my parts machine should be here today. It is untested so it might just work. So my question is if this machine ends up working would it be bad to take the parts out of the current one i own and start testing the CPU and RAM board in the working machine to start the process of seeing what boards work and the one that is the bad guy.
I am acctually getting a 3rd 400 and a 800 in soon too
both untested but they are complete in box so they might just be ok! -
Definatly want to get on the boat for the next run of these, I did sign-up/subscribe on the site back in Oct/Nov for the updates never got one.
No worries though I can wait

If it's not a repro, that Halloween cart alone would pay for the whole set.

I took it apart it has the Apollo board in it, 100% legit. Makes me wonder what I missed out on before I got to these

Instant collection, just add Goowill and someones mistake! And by mistake the GW manager who rung me up said, Oh these were not supposed to be sold in the store they were supposed to be sold on eBay. (Grrrr F-that!) (my last big find at a thrift store back in September)
28 stacks of 4 carts per bundle, 1.99 per stack + tax. photos will be uploaded shortly! Maybe a gem or two hidden in here!
Thanks to a friend of mine who told me about these and sat at the store waiting for me to show up and buy all these.
Anyway here are the photos! A few Intellivision games mixed in here too.
This set has damn near doubled since, this is what sparked my re-interest in collecting for Atari systems!

My copy of Laser Gates is dead, It will not boot up no matter how much I clean it or what system I try it on. I had this as a kid back in the day it was a blast to play then and it still it today. There is an Atari computer version with better graphics.
Sleeper hit for sure, but all iMagic games were pretty top quality sad that they were short lived after the new gen systems came to light I would have loved to see what they could have done with the NES platform.

Got my adaptor in yesterday, 800xl fired right up and works 98% (a couple of keys are not registering). Now to find a 5-Pin DIN to S-Video & RCA AV Cable (I tried to buy one from 8-bit but I cannot seem to so). Also looking for one of those SIOtoSD devices.
