  1. What's happenin' Jacob! Gangster Alley: 620 Bank Heist: 8,753 still haven't figured out how to make my score stop going back to zero!
  2. wow, I totally thought I posted my score... :/ guess I forgot
  3. The comment above sounds very likely spot-on. After reading it, I think that's probably true and you do actually have a new game. Are there any other experts for a second opinion? I was thinking possibly it got assessed by a rookie in the grading department. Whether or not it is indeed a reseal, I see no room for blame. When buying something I always keep in mind that unless there is some written guarantee or something like that, the responsibility is mine to decide its value before buying. If it turned out used, I would just shrug and group it mentally in with some awesome deal I got in the past. Also on the bright side, at least it's just Pro Wrestling.
  4. Ha! xD But I was talking about Super Smash Bros and Metroid Prime!
  5. Cool Power lords cart! just fyi, I don't think folks here would consider those 2600 games rare.
  6. 32,930 Fun game! especially from starting the 2nd pyramid onward.
  7. A question -- I've heard a rumor that small cartridge games can theoretically play on the Sega Saturn (like Genesis games for example, if put on the right cartridge). But I also read that Sega Saturn games contained too much data to have been released on cartridge. My question is, nowadays is it possible to fit that much data on a cartridge? And could the Saturn run Saturn games off the cartridge slot? And... HAS this been done?
  8. I won a Game Boy! A local video rental store held a contest inspired by the move "The Wizard." They teamed up with the local pop station and the contest lasted all day and the DJ was giving commentary and updates in between songs on the radio. There were 5 TV's, 5 Nintendos, and for 8 hours every Nintendo had somebody playing. you could only try once. Simple rules: Play SMB3 for 10 minutes and the highest score wins! The store had put out a sign or flyers or something, giving the rules and how to sign up, 1 month ahead of the contest. So my brother and I began practicing right away. I zeroed in on the goombas in level 1-2 and perfected my strategy over the whole month. My brother followed my method. We chose not to play until a little later in the day to avoid anyone copying our strategy and this totally worked LOL! Fortunately for us, everybody else had apparently seen "The Wizard" and tried to play using the winning strategy from that movie, which was warp to the end of the game xD That doesn't produce much in the way of a score though. So we absolutely demolished all the competition. aside from a new Game Boy we also won 60 free movie rentals, most of which we used for renting video games. We also won keychains and Days of Thunder jackets. good times.
  9. 58,810 getting my patterns rocking. Similar to the NES game but this still seems maybe a little harder.
  10. 48,230 broke down and got ColEm. these are some tough ghost-monsters.
  11. I followed Ikrananka's instructions, but "ROM type" option is greyed out, I can't change it. I can only change "files of type" to "ROM image" or "All Files." I tried both and ROM type is still greyed out.
  12. Man, props to you guys finishing Private Eye. I don't know how some of y'all lost so many points without losing on time though!
  13. Private Eye: 37,700 50,200 Foiled again. Now I just need to find that villain... Infiltrate bonus (Game 1-6): 6,025
  14. I'm throwing in the towel on Infiltrate. I don't see any way of getting any skill or strategy and I see why I had such a lowly opinion of it a few years ago. You can't shoot while ducking, so they can just rush you with rapid fire. You can keep your distance from one, but then the other just comes from the other direction. Kill one and he spawns on top of you. Retarded.
  15. hmm. "Turn the game off before inserting cartridge or expansion module" I got past this once earlier this season, but now I'm stuck on that screen??
  16. Infiltrate (1B): 16,850 My first experiences with this game were about 5 or 6 years ago. I considered it pretty awful. I definitely like it better this time although I don't know if I'd exactly recommend it as a good game.
  17. Robot Tank: 45 and slight improvement for the bonus: 1d 06
  18. Oh, great. I guess once again I should have read the manual. xD
  19. 4,550 This game is a pain in the arse with a keyboard. Still working on getting my controller to work like Robotron.
