Greetings from the northcoast fellow Colecovision gamers! Season 17 will begin the weekend of April 20-21st. Until then we will play a couple of preseason rounds beginning this week with Zaxxon ll. If there is a particular game you would like to play this season, please post it here or in our next round or send me a PM. Everyone who played last season will be given the option to choose a game to play in a round during the season depending on where you finished in the standings. Any new players will also have that same option. I will send players a PM when its their turn to choose. Some games will also be chosen by a poll usually with 4 games to choose from. So that being said, I'm looking forward to another fun season and best of luck to everyone!

Definitely a slow going affair with this one. Eventually you receive 5,000 bonus points for floating through the entire park, and that's as high as it goes. When I rolled this 10 or so years ago, I believe it was around 13 hours of play. I started early morning and finished in the evening. Just one of those weird games from the early 80s that I enjoy. Shouldn't be bad on a keyboard either with no joystick movement. Just 1,3,7 & 9 to select the balloons and the two side buttons to inflate or deflate a balloon.

Another very different game from Sunrise like Campaign '84, very unique. I was going to start Season 17 off with this one but a week or two just isn't enough time to learn and enjoy this one. I hope everyone had a nice holiday and it's a new year, new start. Best of luck in 2024, now have at it!

Had this title been the first game of the comp, I may have very well been eliminated in round 1. That's why this is a two week final. You still have time to improve your game. Both of you guys were giving up early, come on now. As has been stated, don't worry about the flags and fish so much. Be more concerned with the walrus and jumping over two ice crevasses when necessary. Time is not on your side. You want to be as clean as possible for each run with minimal mistakes. Practice, practice, practice.......
