With the bats it's stop and go. I run towards them, then slightly the other way, then back towards them going under them, it's all timing.

I have added a Pitfall ll: Lost Caverns bonus. Score 150,000 or less playing Pitfall ll Arcade. Play Pitfall ll: Lost Caverns, your score (up to 199,000) will be added to your Pitfall ll Arcade score. So it's possible to still achieve 200 - 300k for final round total. Example: Score 36,000 on Arcade. Score 199,000 on Lost Caverns = 235,000 for the round. Best of luck!

I have never played as much River Raid for the CV as I have for the past 10 days or so.

I jump over the bird, jump over the tar pit, a little studder step, then under the bird to grab the money bag. Then over the tar pit moving right and under the bird again, in that early section. It takes some practice, but not too difficult. The manual is at Cvaddict.com. This was a good choice Joe. I have been wanting to try it for quite sometime. Fun stuff! Not sure what the deal is for the manual link, still works for me. I'm trying to put together a walkthrough video of the game.

392,000. The 200k awarded at the end is the perfect bonus. Finding all the money bags, the three water crystals and the crown, diamond, key & the orb nets you 192,000 plus another 200k for the perfect bonus = 392,000. I should have had it earlier today but I forgot about the third water crystal and had to back track to get it as I was heading to the orb. For this particular game I had 4 lives remaining. Other games I had up to 14 extra guys but blew chunks here and there, lost focus and well you know.

I'm not sure, never played this one before. I guess you get a 200k bonus for finishing plus the 192k. We live and learn don't we? Gratz on finishing! I'm getting there. The map sure makes it a lot easier. Could be a little Team Pixelboy nugget.
