  1. Princess Quest, Astrododge ( coleco and msx versions were released at the same time) and the upcoming Mecha -8 are all MSX homebrew ports.
  2. I would go with a dingoo, wiz, or canoo over a psp myself. I have owned both a psp and a wiz and the wiz is easier to use when installing emulators and homebrew. The canoo (the upgrade of the wiz) also adds the option of tilt control in racing games which is a nice feature. The wiz uses a standard control pad so for nintendo, super nintendo, and gameboy games it works very well.
  3. The UK still uses the Pound as it's currency.
  4. A lot of my dislike of sony steems from how they handled the psp. First they were using the umd disk format. Then they abandoned that and released the psp go and digital downloads. The disk drive on my psp only lasted a few months. They cracked down hard on the homebrew community. They released few games i was interested in.
  5. There was part of a cigarette package inside my NES. It was kind of strange since no one in my family smoked and I owned it since it was brand new.
  6. Thanks for all the information everyone. I am very interested in buying the Vectrex itself. If the second controller is a decent price I will buy that as well. As for the games it will depend on the price of each. (I don't think the seller is too interested in a package deal) I will look into the Multicart and maybe sometime buy some reproduction overlays. I also collect for the Colecovision so for now I would like to go with cheaper options.
  7. Does printing the overlays on a transparency sheet seem to work really well? If it does that might be a good option for me. The recycled light pen does look like a good alternative. All have to keep that in mind. The vectrex needed some repairs so its currently being fixed. I am hoping I will be able to purchase it when they are done. The seller has a large selection of games with overlays so hopefully I will be able to purchase some of them as well. He also had a second Vectrex controller. What do these usually sell for?
  8. Any idea of the value of the overlays in particular? I have found some cart prices on atari2600 .com . But they don't have any overlays. Are there any games that are ultra rare that have really high prices. (100's) How much are accessories like the light pen and extra controllers? THANKS.
  9. I may have the opprotunity to purchase a vectrex console in the near furture. I haven't used a vectrex before so I had a few questions. Does owning the overlays greatly inprove gameplay? What are the best games for the vectrex and what are they worth? (with overlays and instruction manuals but no boxes) Is it worth it to buy a multicart for this system or am I better buying individual carts? Is there an active homebrew community for this system? Thanks.
  10. Temple run and the Helicopter game are both extremely popular and they follow the same premise as this game - Staying alive as long as possible. I personally have found this type of game to be quite addictive. Has anyone (that hadn't before) received a pre-order statement yet?
  11. Your new game looks awesome. I have been playing bugs n' bots a lot lately. It is really fun and very addictive.
  12. I personally would rather see original games developed over both pre and post crash ports. Its interesting to see what people can do using the original colecovision hardware and some creativity. It would be cool to see some sequels to some of the original colecovision titles. ( Like a Donkey Kong 3, Gorf 2 ,ect.) Or to continue a series like the super action sports.
  13. So have you contacted everyone who placed a pre-order or are you starting that process? ( I placed a pre-order but haven't heard anything yet) Thanks.
  14. I think a remake of Raiders of the Lost Ark would be cool. The atari 2600 version is very flawed and would require a major overhaul. (Like adventure - Quest of the Golden Chalice)
  15. It reminds me a lot of Golf for the NES. I used to play that game for hours on end. Continuing the series of "Super Action" sports games would be cool. Have any "Super Action" homebrew games been released for the Colecovision? (Other than the version of soccer you released a couple month's ago)
  16. I noticed that a few of the games on your website have an add to cart button on the bottom. Are these games still available for purchase?
  17. 71208 I think all need to start studying the shortcut map. I ran out of time to go further.
  18. I had to file a claim through ebay buyer protection. The seller refused to offer a refund on his own accord. People on ebay seem to give out positive feedback as long as an item arrives. It's possible I guess that I got unlucky that three out of the four games didn't work. Even still the cartridges are reproductions. You would be better off buying original's or buying an atarimax cart.
  19. It's a step worse than that. I made the mistake of purchasing some games from this seller a few month's ago. Not only are the games reproductions they also do not work.
  20. The telegame releases seem to cause a lot of the differences in these lists. Some include them while other's do not at all. Wikipedia seems to include some homebrew and non released prototypes as well in their list.
