Be kinda cool to have some sort of way to make them interchangeable like "colorforms" perhaps a clear label to cover the origonal and interchangeable on top of that. thanks for making me one anyways
-
placed an order for one I think Spiceware made the game and would need his blessing I think Nathan Strum did "Star Castle" https://atariage.com/store/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1046and it'd be cool to have a Starplex overlay for that game

don't think it was designed for 2600 games http://thevideostoreshopper.com/universal-game-case/universal-game-case-|-full-sleeve-insert/ try those carts and see how the tabs work

Found A 2600 & Carts in Garage - Can I Get Some Input?
chas10e replied to knievel1's topic in Atari 2600
my first suggestion would be to hook it up get some friends together & play way past your hands cramping-up next maybe put on craigslist with a "will be gone next weekend" sort of thing then off to Goodwill if needs be yeah that's the bottom half of a disassembled M-Network Cart .... the part that goes into the slot if you blow-up the pic you can see the bottom half of Super Challenge Football so it's another game ( or a dupe ) I will guess Armor Ambush 'cause these guessing games are fun -

chas10e replied to masschamber's topic in Atari 7800
I kind of wonder if something like this would work ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/10Pcs-XH2-54-2Pin-Pitch-Leads-Header-Socket-Connector-DIP-90-Degree-Angle-PCB-/262350618883?epid=1663056496&hash=item3d1550c103:g:HNUAAOSwxp9W86Tb -

yeah it's the "tall boot" version I think there was a thread or something about this as to the ideas on why these were different

they used 2 prong plugs on everything in there .... is it back on the right spot ? there are also some very thin wires on the speaker itself I have gotten a pong unit with a bad speaker before, the spare speaker I had worked (now I haz no spare )
-
I wondered if they were simply period standard bicycle hand grips but I see a groove on the inside I don't have any extra's sorry
-
I wonder if reflowing all the solder joints under the IC chip would help. my eyesight is bad and I usually don't see a cracked solder joint. is that a big capacitor to the left of the IC? is that joint ok ? seems odd you get a good picture but the whole game doesn't appear

the boxed Starplex I got never had a label ( I guess) ... I'd be in for a couple

Hicks was awesome in that flic !!!! they did try to ignore him & he was right the whole time Back on topic: great looking box art, cart label and the screen shot looks pretty good too I could totally see being a neat project. I don't code at all though but following this thread sounds like fun

that's awesome ! I agree in visiting a locksmith to make you a new key or replace the lock I'd guess that the Sears H6 will clean up just as nice and work as well great score !!!!

Repair Questions for STUNT CYCLE SC-450
chas10e replied to ToyFlashback's topic in Dedicated Systems
the sound should be coming from the speaker in the console. the connection to the TV should be the coax and if a newer flat panel you may have to search for an analog signal the power supply is the same as your 2600 as well. I might suspect that first as no sound from the internal speaker -

72"T x 49"W x 27"D ... the perfect size GLWTS -
yeah I'd like to play the arcade model as well. I did get the "kill screen" on My atari Stunt Cycle once

should you need to clean the throttle pot , the left handle grip needs to be slipped off first , warm it up some with running hot water over it or a hair dryer then some gentle twisting & pulling great score & fun game !!!

I got my Atari hooked up to a 10" CRT-TV and it plays great , I also have an atari in a "go-bag" and whatever size TV is available at nieces and nephews it plays great there too. 32" at one place , 42" another and even as large as 70" all flat screen ... sometimes the picture will jump on the 42" it hooks up to anything and it's fun to play but CRT is my preference

there is only ONE commercially released driving controller game, Indy 500 (or Sears "Race") many great "DC Hacks" and homebrews that support them though I enjoy collecting CIB games , I have a very few sealed ones and discovered that just isn't my thing I have learned that after you get "that holy grail" .... there's ALWAYS another holy grail enjoy the journey and welcome to the site

Trade-N-Games has the "music mate" holders for 2.50 each which seems pretty reasonable IMO http://www.tradengames.com/store/pc/Musicmate-Cassette-Holder-Stores-loose-2600-carts-29p20465.htm

when I got my imager, I used some packing tape like a lint-brush to only remove the particles of the headband breaking down. worked great
