Ignore him, he is on drugs all the time.
Hicks was awesome in that flic !!!! they did try to ignore him & he was right the whole time

Back on topic:
great looking box art, cart label and the screen shot looks pretty good too
I could totally see being a neat project. I don't code at all though but following this thread sounds like fun

-
that's awesome ! I agree in visiting a locksmith to make you a new key or replace the lock
I'd guess that the Sears H6 will clean up just as nice and work as well

great score !!!!

the sound should be coming from the speaker in the console. the connection to the TV should be the coax and if a newer flat panel you may have to search for an analog signal
the power supply is the same as your 2600 as well. I might suspect that first as no sound from the internal speaker

What are the dimensions of that thing? Just wondering if it would fit nicely in my game room.
72"T x 49"W x 27"D ... the perfect size

yeah I'd like to play the arcade model as well.
I did get the "kill screen" on My atari Stunt Cycle once

should you need to clean the throttle pot , the left handle grip needs to be slipped off first , warm it up some with running hot water over it or a hair dryer then some gentle twisting & pulling
great score & fun game !!!

So for a 48" tv you would sit 4 to 6 feet away? That seems kind of close.
playing pong would be awesome

I got my Atari hooked up to a 10" CRT-TV and it plays great , I also have an atari in a "go-bag" and whatever size TV is available at nieces and nephews it plays great there too. 32" at one place , 42" another and even as large as 70" all flat screen ... sometimes the picture will jump on the 42"
it hooks up to anything and it's fun to play but CRT is my preference

there is only ONE commercially released driving controller game, Indy 500 (or Sears "Race")
many great "DC Hacks" and homebrews that support them though
I enjoy collecting CIB games , I have a very few sealed ones and discovered that just isn't my thing
I have learned that after you get "that holy grail" .... there's ALWAYS another holy grail
enjoy the journey and welcome to the site

Thanks, man. That is interesting and thorough, but I was looking for something more along the lines of rowed-up carts. I found this via Google....apparently it shows 32 of the 33 Activision 'standard label' games.
(?)
^Speaking of, are the woodgrain cart holders plentiful and cheap, or? I used to have one of the puffy notebook-style cases, but I'm not too into those for various reasons.
Trade-N-Games has the "music mate" holders for 2.50 each which seems pretty reasonable IMO

when I got my imager, I used some packing tape like a lint-brush to only remove the particles of the headband breaking down. worked great

It's out there but I took all the videos down. I had extensive background checks for a new job and I didn't want those videos out there.
Do you mean that when you hit the target it doesn't register? It happens on mine frequently. I see that the rectangle target seems to be the factory installed target. I played one at Pinfest where someone replaced it with a circular target and it looks much better.
yeah the center rectangle. after you hit the right lane it starts the sequence for the center target , when it does register good I can usually get the right gate open by timing the shot then also getting the bonus multiplier afterwards
I like the sound package this game has
-
I gotta see pics
If you want, you can just hit the right target over and over again like they did in the PAPA YouTube video.
But, I'm not that good so I play it straight, which is a lot more fun.
wasn't my Mod: but was designed to put it back to origonal , the target is in the bottom of the box still.
yeah I'm getting better at "ball control" and this is a great table to do it on
my center "death target" isn't always reliable
but you need to hit that that the correct time open the right out-lane gate, you'll notice it's forever open in the PAPA video
-
heh I got the same table , it had been modified so instead of a stand-up target on the right there is a roll-over button & a channel that is under the plastic there sending the ball into the pops ... the mod can easily be reverted back to origonal

what pin you get ?

have you opened the pots to clean them ? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/184296-slowcoders-guide-to-cleaning-up-your-2600/?p=2316794
don't use dielectric grease if there is a carbon contact

Page #4 of the manual describes how to store the controller. proper play should keep it in good shape. don't spike the thing into the ground during heated play

the one with the date code of '84 had to be from their pre-release models. http://atariage.com/7800/history.html
I think some of them cordless phones used the same connector type ... the ones with the really long antennas
... or mebbe it was a shaver , I wished I knew the name of the connector type -
Woah, def never seen that one! So looks like yours was made in Hong Kong, the top two Philippines and Taiwan, and I can't make out the origin of the brick (solo pic). Each country went rogue and designed their own lol
yeah pic a bit blurry , reads like "Made in Singapore" perhaps

great play tips I need to use these

on classic Bally tables some try to "nine the score" all nines on the display by either calculating bonus & draining the ball intentionally or tilting
I hate when ball goes between the right flippers
