yes it actually IS the same power supply the 2600 uses ... a picture of the box ...

there was a tough lookin' guy there telling me all about it when I got it. I DIDN'T wanna ask him how he knew so much about 'em only a headphone jack for sound. I did try putting a speaker in there but think it was manufactured without any of the board components for an internal speaker ... so I don't go off-topic to much, here's a quick snap of shoe hanger I also had Mario packin' for me some
-
fortunately I got it at a thrift
-
I would think it would depend on the specifics of the question .... if about the arcade gameplay, it would be here, but if console specific question elsewhere the MAME HSC is in these boards is why I say this is an appropriate place

I did seriously consider putting a few inside this TV I have ... I was inspired by the over-the-door shoe rack ... http://atariage.com/forums/topic/130484-game-room-best-use-for-a-shoe-rack-ever/?hl=%2Bshoe+%2Brack&do=findComment&comment=1573953 rubber bands & tucking cords underneath would look pretty good

got it for Christmas ( it was on my list ) while still wrapped I knew what it was feeling through the wrapping paper .... my first thought was "Man this thing is heavy" !!! I will enjoy it very much
-
cool piece of hardware ... I'd say the Atari power brick just happens to work for the device .... no nameplate on the bottom or back ?

ooooooooh the trak-ball missile command is very attractive I usually check out the Web site of a place in the photo on an Ebay auction if it's something I am interested in. I imagine others will as well and discover what a wonderful hobby it can be. I only have one magnet from my very first AA purchase and was a very nice surprise.

the broken stuff was how I received the item , hotmelt glue & some paperclips works ok, just try and not to break yours I could not remove joystick handle from top and didn't seem to need to I did remove halves from under it to pull flex circuit around to examine
-
try some conductive paint on the flex circuit if you see an obvious break in it it could also be the end of the cable that plugs into the console , but more likely a break in the flex circuit

congrats the harmony cart will also play the supercharger games that originally loaded from cassette a 2'nd pair of paddles for 4 player games like Warlords, for Christmas a pile of inexpensive games that you don't currently have already, note the ones you have and look through the "rarity guide" here , some Sears titles have been rebranded from Atari titles "target fun" is same as "air-sea battle" the hunt is half the fun finding local shops & digging through a soda box from the back room a separate pair of driving paddles is great for "Indy 500" (aka Sears "Race") , Harmony cart will be good to play the "hacks" listed on that link. EDIT: some "DC" hacks aren''t listed there http://atariage.com/software_hacks.php?SystemID=2600&orderBy=FunctionalHack&orderByValue=Descending

yikes , looking @ my supply I am using for my 4 port, looks like I am using the brick for the 2 port model http://www4.ncsu.edu/~awwatkin/ATARI/LISTS/power.html my guess to console shutting down is the low wattage rating for the power supply you are temporarily are using 9.3 x 1.95 = 18.135 (watts) I do see a couple phillips screws on bottom of mine and would look for a fuse in there if it were me ( unplugging from wall first naturally )

Atari 2600 Kiosk feature video now up
chas10e replied to Trade-N-Games's topic in Show Us Your Collection!
I shot you a PM about the "worn (panel) marquee" I have the cabinet and running through a console on top. mine had a key with the 3 locks and they all all keyed the same I would imagine a local locksmith can make a key from one of the upper door locks. I had a replacement key made for mine great video! Thank you -
I would suspect the power adapter , perhaps plugged into a power strip not turned on , or a switched outlet with light switch off also assuming you are using the correct power brick a volt meter or an automotive test light with let you know if you have power at the barrel that plugs into the TV switch-box

hugh .... I thought I posted a "PM sent" earlier apologies -
I am downloading the *.torrent version , you can do selective downloading with most torrent clients total it's 58.8 GB

Fantastic, I enjoyed what I was able to watch on youtube , raw footage will be a delight as well although a whole LOT of it was WAY over my head what I drew from the youtube VHS rips was that early Atari was a group of engineers collaborating together to solve "the problem" , that's why there didn't seem to be a need for any one individuals recognition (at the time)
