  1. Hey guys, this is my latest score entry. Still heartless and still short of the 70K Oscar G. - 69,480 points Cheers!
  2. By the way River. I am enclosing an internal memo from Mattel UK from 13 October 1982 with a list of released and upcoming games. Some of the games like Minator (sic; problably AD&D TofT), Card Fun and Land Battle may have been released with different games. I hope this helps. PS: I will check if I have other documentation that can help to compile such a list. I think I have some UK Fan Club Newsletters stored somewhere
  3. I guess the European exclusives (Tutankham and Super Cobra, both by Parker Brothers) should appear in the list. Also the European titles developed by Dextell/Nice Ideas (Soccer and Tennis) should be there. The Draughts Mattel game in the UK was sort of a urban legend until it was discovered that it was quite common and almost identical to its US counterpart checkers. There are some european variants of Coleco games marketed by CBS; as well as International versions of Activision, Imagic and many Mattel games. cMart is our in-house variant specialist so he may give you an update on that. Another good resource to find info about this topic is INTV Funhouse. I hope this helps. Cheers!
  4. Wow Hey Sqoon we were thinking about the same issue with Joust / Bomb Jack almost at the same time. What a coincidence! Joust / Bomb Jack one-button type of control is one of the coolest things ever
  5. Bomb Jack. Fantastic game. Unfortunately the action buttons of the INTV controller may not be appropriate as they need to be used repeatedly. Perhaps the numeric keyboard buttons could make the job. Same idea as in the Joust game.
  6. My latest score entry: Oscar G. - 65,260 points Still no heart
  7. Congratulations to all. A sequel for Carol vs Ghost? Greatest news ever!
  8. Wow! Great score Felson! Way to go! I wonder if someone will break the 100k barrier. You are top candidate
  9. Thank you very much! Let's aim for the heart!
  10. You could give 3 patches (or a Tshirt?) for each of the top 5 and surely you will not get any complaints. Seriously speaking, there is no space for "ripped off" feelings when you are simply being kind. Thanks again for organising the contest and for all your love, dedication and attention to detail in the prizes. Cheers!
  11. BTW what is are the next pick ups after the key? I don't seem to remember.
  12. Don't worry too much about it Janzl. You should be grateful that at least there is youtube where you could see the videos of the games that we are playing on our shiny CC3s.
  13. Excellent idea, a second the motion. A small step in programming code, a huge step for gender equality in videogames!
  14. Thanks for the reference. It seems like a good read, even for non-programmers like me. Video game art is sadly under-appreciated.
  15. I also find it weird that unreleased games are called home-brews if they eventually get a release in physical form. I guess that a more accurate term should be reproduction or repro. At least, this is the term used for this type of games in the NES, SNES, Megadrive collecting circles. E.g. Starfox 2 for the SNES is more a repro than a home-brew. It will be interesting to know which are the "real" home-brews for the Intellivision: CvG, D2K, DKArcade, Space Patrol, 4tris...
  16. Here it goes... my humble contribution to the rising costs of the tickets to the next round Oscar G - 60,100 galactic credits
  17. I am not sure cParsley that 40K will guarantee the ticket to the next round. Seems that everybody's scores are going up, just like the price of gas
  18. So you are having problems with Maze games... mmm... What about Carol vs Ghost my friend, your specialty was rolling the score over there
  19. Hello guys, Here is my score for this fine game. In my opinion, Data East games on the INTV (Lock, Burger, Mission, Bump and Thin Ice) are some of the finest games to ever grace the console. Cheers, Oscar G. - 46,040 points
