Hello Janzl,
I am happy to know that you are enjoying the Intellivision... it is such a great console. Sorry for not answering your email (I normally catch up with my email over the weekend, my apologies). Check your email, I have already sent you a message

Alternatively we could use AA's messenger system. Cheers and good night!

Thanks for the clarification Rev! One more weekend of barrel-jumping fun

Same as Liduario. I simply love to play the games. I think that having limits is a very important thing while collecting. 125 is a challenging but fair limit for me. Cheers!

Not to my knowledge.
Thanks!

On a related topic, I own both NTSC and Pal versions of The Empire Strikes Back and the NTSC version play the Star Wars theme while the Pal doesn't (tested on a Pal console). Cheers!

The Mattel version of Motocross doesn´t run on PAL machines.
The INTV version works.
Thank IntyMike for the info! It is very useful and might explain why I only come across of INTV versions of Motocross here in Europe. Are there any other games NTSC games that do not run on Pal consoles? Thanks again for the info!

By the way, am I right in assuming then that the competition is officially finishing today (last day of Feb) as planned? Or can I still submit scores during the weekend?

I am moving this weekend and when i tally up the final scores next week it will be easier and i wont miss anyones top score.
Good luck with the moving and thanks for all your help Rev!

Hello Janzl...
That explains everything. I have put the rom of DF in my CC3 (the flash cart for the INTV) and it crashes as well. Now I know the reason: I have been trying to run it on a PAL Console.
That's sad, as DF was one of my favourites back in the day when I was living on the other side of the pond. Cheers and thanks for the explanation.
PS I really like the picture that is associated with your name. Very cool. Shark, shark is also another one of my all time faves!

I think Happy Trails should be in this list. INTV exclusive that controls like a dream. Challenging but fair.
After finishing all the boards, it starts up with small boards again and with the speed revamped. Stuff of legends.
IMHO is way better than LocoMotion.

Same as Atari Bill. You cannot be very picky if you still want to play today with Toys from the late 70s-80s.
I still try to keep them arranged/protected in a plastic box.
I would say I am not very picky but sensible

Cheers!

Cool solution. I am using old Betamax, C64 boxes for the rare carts. I make a custom cover in PowerPoint.
I keep all my games loose in plastic boxes that hold approx. 44 games per box. Cheers!

What about Vectron? Tough game to get into but once you got the groove I kind of remember it was quite cool.
I have misty memories about this one. Never played it at the beginning, suddenly "understood" it. Then got hooked.
Today, I do not know if I will be able to play it again.

Leaderboards updated. Oscar G in first place now!
Hey I was the leader of the competition for a couple of minutes

Then Liduario got inspired... as usual

Great score Lid! Cheers!

Great article! I used to leave in TO. One of my best friends lives in Hamilton. Go Jays/Leafs!
Congratulations again for the work with Classic Game Publishers!
Cheers!

I shall play tonight and redeem myself, and stand once again next to my fellow players, who will then proceed to thoroughly kick my ass.

That's the spirit my friend... that's the spirit!
