I don't drink coffee but I enjoy going to "cafés". I like to work there actually or simply take my Retro Gamer Magazine with me while sipping a Green Tea.
In the Netherlands, the term "coffee shop" refers to a "different" kind of establishment.
From the wikipedia:
"Coffeeshops are establishments in the Netherlands where the sale of cannabis for personal consumption by the public is tolerated by the local authorities."
I don't think you would get too much work done there. Your creativity might improve though.

Way to go! The box looks fantastic. Count me in for a couple of sets too. Cheers!

Congratulations. Great website. I wish you many renewals!

He-Man... I love the music of this game!
I find it very cool that the main theme is split along the different running stages as if it the music is telling the story of the game.
When I was young, I would simply put the He-Man cart in between my playing session just to hear the music and then move on to another game.
Good luck to everyone!

Nice. I'm tempted to get sears variants just to use these overlays

I have also the same feeling. MMM... seems to be that there is going to be a demand for Sears variants due to the creation of these fantastic overlays

This information is very interesting Intellivision Dude! Thank you for posting it.
Chip Shot is one of the games I missed back at the time but by reading the comments here it seems a quality title that is worth discovering.
Cheers!

Very nice! I particularly like the frog bog one. Menacing but cute with the sun and moon diagrams.

Cool stuff, extremely creative. I wonder what would be your take on the USCF Chess

Hey DZ,
Today, I received the Xmas Carol package in the mail

Thanks for all the goodies, they are top notch!
Let's hope that there will be another Carol Competition next December.
Cheers,
Oscar
PS I hope that I will not be jinxed because this is reply 666. I guess that since I am an Iron Maiden fan I will be fine.

Great score BTW! Cheers, O

I'm having problems with an Intellivision rom again!

I've downloaded a .bin and a .int file, but the rom doesn't work property...
I used the Dig Dug and the Pacman cfg files and nothing. The Christmas Carol cfg breaks the emulator...

Any help is appreciated.
I must find a way to play the game or I'm in risk of being knocked out
.There isn't a centipede cart available in local market and no time to import one...
MMM... It seems that the emulator does not work with Atari-developed games.
I am sorry to know that you are having problems with the emulator.
I had problems as well with the emulator and the Carol game. It seems that emulators are not very reliable.
I have one idea, I will pm it to you. Cheers. O

The buttons are very beautiful Rev! Good job! I'm happy to know that you are exploiting the amazing artwork that the game has. Cheers!

Why is the spider so suicidal? First, he eats mushrooms whether or not they are poison. Next, he slams into you, even though this causes an explosion and death for both parties.
MMM... perhaps the suicidal tendencies derive from too much mushroom intake...

I am in the same situation as DZ. I did not have centipede on the INTV at the time but I really liked it in the arcades.
Actually, I played it a lot on the Atari 2600 before I turned to the Dark Side and got my INTV.
If I remember well on the Atari 2600, Centipede was one of those games that contributed to the destruction of your joystick.
I am looking forward to discovering the game with the INTV controller. Should be very cool.
Good luck to all!

I am also a big fan of this fantastic game. One of the first party games ever? Perhaps. For sure it is the grand-daddy of the WarioWare minigames series.
I also used the two controller technique, which works fine with the space battle game but gives you a headache and makes you cross-eyed in the D&D Game

BTW the D&D should be considered a cool spin-off more than a mini game as the programmer completely took the D&D experience and made a shooter out of it. Awesome.
The Football game is also extremely good. It would be fun to include this game in one of the tournaments. Hint, hint... Cparsley

AD&D TofT is also an amazing adventure. But this one requires a little bit of time, specially for managing your inventory. Once you are comfortable with the controls you are for a treat. I used to play this game for hours on end. Plenty of times, I would kill the Minotaur and I would ignore the treasure that finishes the game. Then I would continue exploring deep into the dungeon. This is also a very, very scary game. I hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I did. Cheers!

Now I have to go to Night Stalker... I don't want to get knocked out from the tournament

But it's not another hobby. It's still the same one...

Or do what I do:
"Hunny, you know how you've talked about that Atari VCS you had as a kid, and how you miss it? Well, I thought I'd do something special for you today, so I went to e-bay and got you this! SURPRISE!"
"What? you didn't have an Atari when you were a kid? Hmm, I guess it was me then. Oh well... mind if I play?"

-dZ.
Or even better... get yourself an Atari Module for the Intellivision II and you will technically still be within the borders of your hobby

Remember, with the Atari Module the INTV library expanded to thousands of games...
