  1. I would like to add, "iWoz", By Steve Wozniak and "Adventures of an Apple Founder", by Ronald G. Wayne. I also placed some links to "Out of the Inner Circle: A Hacker's Guide to Computer Security" and "Bit-by-Bit:An Illustrated History of Computers [Paperback]" over on the Apple I production numbers thread.. Also, "Out of the Inner Circle" was scanned to a PDF and can be found in a Post on the thread, "BYTE Magazine".
  2. The Limit is usually the Interface Circuitry.. SDSC (SD): 1 MB to 2 GB, some 4 GB available. SDHC: 4 GB to 32 GB SDXC: ≥32 GB to 2 TB ( from Wikipedia ) I would guess that the current Atmel Chips ( this project uses the AT Mega 328 ) support SDHC as well as the older SDSC so the Limit would be 32GB. Here is another Atmel Project with SDHC Support, SD/SDHC Card Interfacing with ATmega8 /32 (FAT32 implementation).
  3. I would be interested in purchasing a Unit or Two, as well... Do you have a Time Line for their availability???
  4. Do you have a link to your modified version?? I tried the Attached Files in the thread, but there did not seem to be a playable version.. EDIT: I think I found it.. It's in a GZip File.....
  5. I was following that thread.. Did you ever get a version that would Load and Play?? How about with the Mockingboard support??
  6. I spent a few minutes looking in Hackers, but it's a big BOOK.. iWoz I have on Kindle, so it was Search-able.. For classic Computer Information, I also have "Out of the Inner Circle: A Hacker's Guide to Computer Security" and "Bit-by-Bit:An Illustrated History of Computers [Paperback]" I highly recommend ALL Four of these books....
  7. The Applefritter Forum seems like a good Hardware Reference.. Here is a Search for NTSC. You might be able to learn a bit more about how to determine what will work and won't..
  8. Off the "Top of My Head", I think it was 200.. Looking in iWoz, the Byte Shop placed an order for 100, and the beginning of Chap 13, Woz states "By Early 1976, we had sold maybe 150 computers" Hackers, by Steven Levy IIRC has similar Information, but I have not located it yet...
  9. I would really be interested in an Apple ][ Sub-Forum here at AtariAge.. Especially pertaining to Programming or Game Development.. I have been a member at Applefritter for almost 18 months, and the Apple ][ focus is about Classic Hardware, and using the Apple ]['s with Classic Software, with a small focus on new Hardware ( like Flash Drives for Storage ).. There is very little Programming topics... I was directed to AtariAge by JamesD and his link to (Apple ][) It's on like Donkey Kong... I am just getting back into using the Apple ][, I started in JAN-1982 with the Apple][+ at High School.. I have 8 Apple ][e's, 2 Apple //e Enhanced Motherboards, an Apple ][, and Apple ][+ and 2 Apple IIgs. I also have a Commodore SX-64 with a few VIC-20's, C-64 and 2 C-128 of unknown operating status, and a few ( like a dozen ) Sinclare ZX-81/Timex-Sinclare 1000's. Here is a picture of me, ( I'm on the left ) with my first Apple ][ purchase.
  10. I live on the Command Line too.. It must have something to do with starting with the Apple ][+, then moving to PC-DOS 2.1 and a UNIX Clone called Coherent.. I know for a fact the Korn Shell ( ksh ) does TAB Completion, because I worked exclusive on an NCR machine with UNIX System V.. Also, Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 do TAB Completion, and Windows 2000 can be made to do it with a Registry Hack.. Better yet it to "ditch" Micro-Soft's Command Interpreter and get 4DOS/NT/OS2 from JP Software... <ftp://ftp.jpsoft.com/oldver> The 4DOS version 7.50 ( 750 ) is unrestricted and the other Two 4NT and 4OS2 are Shareware.. I prefer File Names without any Spaces... I like the Name Format of YYYY-MM or YYYY-MM-DD if you have Daily Files....
  11. I see that this Auction is now over, but... I only have U.S. versions of the Apple ][e, and don't know a lot about the Euro Apple ][e, but according to the Wikipedia Page on International Apple ][e's, the text states: "In some countries these localized IIe's also support 50 Hz PAL video instead of the standard 60 Hz NTSC video and the different 220/240 volt power of that region. An equivalent of the "PAL color card" for the earlier Apple II europlus model was integrated into the motherboard of these IIes, so that color graphics are available without the addition of a slot card." I would guess that since the Monitor is 230V and 50Hz, that would make the Apple ][e PAL and the Color is Built In..
  12. Thanks, but I can't take All the Credit... I have to recognize -Blimco- at AppleFritter for pointing me to this thread..
  13. Thank You very much.. This book is fantastic, and the Scan is %99.9 perfect.. If you ever get the time to get to %100, page 75 ( PDF Page 76 ) slipped a little too far in the Feeder and the Top Half of the Top Line is Clipped.. Looking forward to seeing your next scanned book...
