  11. Hi all, a friend of mine came across this cart the other day and we wondered a bit about it, especially the "Multi video systems" tag, anyone know more about that or what this cart is worth?
  12. What is ever so slightly annoying is ive seen WAV2CAS fixed for 64 bit Windows but not the other way round
  13. Not much use if you have a 64 bit OS though, CAS2WAV just wont run
  14. Are you sure bandit? The guy these came off was 100% Atari (he had practically everything over a period of time) but I suppose these could have sneaked in when he was buying bundles, wonder what they do?
  15. Oops sorry, I just saw Marketplace, now I see where it should be, yes, admins, please move
  16. Here Works, nice and clean, check out some of the other stuff Ive got on, not Atari unfortunately but theres some interesting bits and pieces someone might want
  17. Rob had a look at the last two for his 5200, they are too wide apparently, anyways, someone from here has bought the lot and they are heading stateside now, hope whoever it is can identify those last two when they arrive!
  18. Thanks Rybags! If anyones interested in any of them, fire an email off to microsprout AT hotmail.com
  19. These are for sale btw when (or if) I can get them identified, something tells me that they are from 400 or 800 systems.
  20. Thanks Bob, ive passed the information on. Do you know how they can be fixed?
  21. Yeah I gathered that but he does have another that he uses so Im sure he knows how to do it, probably just a typo
  22. Hello everyone! Sorry my first post is a cry for help but I had an email off a friend the other day who is having a bit of bother, probably best if I reproduce the email as it was written, see if anyone here can help or offer any advice; When you power up the main power light is supposed to come on and the drive busy light also supposed come on for a couple of seconds and then go out. Then insert disk and fire up the computer whilst holding down start - hey presto. However power light comes on fine but no drive busy and no noise to indicate it is doing anything. Tried the old routine anyway but, as expected, nowt doing. So I decided I would open the old girl up and I found that the disk cradle part with the motor and all that jazz easily came away from the board via push fit connectors. Tried all these to make sure none were just badly seated - still nothing. Then decided I'd try and place the cradle in the working drive to see if I could id whether the board or the motor, etc might be at fault....... Soooo... Drive busy light working but quite a gratey noise, light goes out after a couple of secs as expected but then comes on again.... off again.... on again.... you get the jist. Decided at this point I'd stop f**kin' about and just put the good one back together. All went back together fine, Phew. Funnily enough the bad noise on happens the first time the drive busy light comes on and when it trys on subsequent times it just sounds normal. The whole purpose really was not to see if I could fix it there and then but to give some general clues. I don't know if any of this helps or not but it might be a starting point if you want to ask some tech guys on the forums and see what they come up with. My suspicions were with the niose which came at point of switching on was that something in the main cradle i.e. motor possible was not good and repeated trying with it had caused further fault to the circuit board
